The final gathering will be aimed at identifying needs-based recommendations that are unique to each person’s experience. The families will learn how to harvest materials, identify culturally significant tree species, and participate in talking circles that promote healing.

Project activities include: (1) holding sessions with the Brain and Territorial Trusts that serve to identify, debate and analyze challenges and solutions; formulating policy recommendations, and defining engagement strategies aimed at catalyzing PDET implementation; (2) conducting workshops aimed at building knowledge on lessons learned from different conflict contexts; (3) preparing and distributing policy analyses on risks and opportunities for peace implementation in Colombia; and (4) conducting public outreach with broader audiences, including actors with different political views or technical interpretations of the Peace Agreement’s implementation.

Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance for creating and fortifying partnerships between the private sector and institutional partners around on-the-job training and safe internships in workplaces for all trainees; (2) issuing grants to support and incentivize employers to create innovative, inclusive and gender-responsive work environments proactively ; (3) providing relevant training and technical assistance to training institutes supporting equitable access to entrepreneurship support; (4) developing models linking graduates to business development and financial services; (5) providing technical assistance for blended learning approaches that extends the reach of training opportunities; and (6) promoting women’s participation in the labour force with social marketing campaigns aimed at women to encourage employment or entrepreneurship in growth and non-traditional sectors of the economy.

Project activities include: (1) co-creating learning and advocacy joint missions; (2) participating in annual meetings with the Secretary-General; (3) collaborating on key SDG communications, engagements and events to promote the SDGs, including SDG dialogues in the UN’s SDG TV Studio; (4) participating in Women Rise for All engagements for women’s leadership and gender equality; (5) contributing to enhance the United Nations Office for Partnerships’ communications and advocacy capacity for mobilization of SDGs; and (6) helping strengthen the SDG partnership ecosystem.

The project seeks to advance gender equality in Pakistan by: (1) supporting the work of, and strengthening women’s rights organizations (WROs); (2) supporting capacity building in proposal development, leadership skills, media, legal frameworks pertaining to women, and on feminist monitoring, evaluation and learning; (3) providing organizational development training to select WROs based on needs identified by them; (4) providing direct grants for operational support and to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of WROs’ programs; and (5) providing responsive funding, research grants and funding for developing one national level alliance.

There is increasing interest among Indigenous communities in learning and speaking their ancestral languages. Teachers are often overwhelmed by the number of students, both in the classroom and online.

In total, 13 sessions are scheduled providing a total of 19.5 hours of learning. The conference also includes the Forest Professionals BC annual general meeting and a keynote address from British Columbia Forest Minister Ravi Parmar.

Although the die casting process has been used for decades and industrial operators have learned empirically how to alter the die faces to promote quality, there are still fundamental gaps in understanding and modelling the fast, turbulent filling and rapid solidification of the alloy especially at the surfaces.
