Right To Play and its implementing partners will use sport and play as a form of experiential learning to develop critical life skills such as leadership, communication and self-esteem in 10,320 adolescent girls (7,740) and boys (2,580) that will support enhanced agency in girls and positive masculinity in boys.

Previously established Community Learning Centres, including inclass teaching and student support, have been curtailed in favour of distance-education strategies.

The project activities include: (1) strengthening capacities of law enforcement and customs officers responsible for securing and inspecting commercial cargo in land based ports of entry through introductory and advanced training relevant to their roles and responsibilities; (2) updating decision-makers, customs and law enforcement officials on international standards, good practices, lessons learned, and recent trends on cargo security, interagency cooperation, public-private partnerships, and protection of marine and land based ports of entry; and (3) establishing Inter-American roster of customs and cargo security experts.

Project activities include: (1) facilitating the training of women and youth through workshops on peacebuilding techniques; (2) creating local Community Peace Hubs and regional Peace Tables that serve as peacebuilding coordination bodies; (3) supporting Mobile Peace Clinics to target hard-to-reach communities of women and men to promote awareness, education and mediation on community tensions, peacebuilding, positive masculinity, non-violent resolutions of conflict, and basic sexual and reproductive health education; (4) establishing a Peace House to train civil society organizations; and (5) conducting a multi-regional forum for Women, Peace and Security leaders to exchange best practices and lessons learned from peacebuilding work across six conflict-affected regions in Cameroon.

Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance from biodiversity experts to develop implementation plans for National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans that address the needs of vulnerable people; (2) establishing a data management system for national biodiversity focal points and other relevant government institutions; (3) supporting the engagement of women, Indigenous People, and tribal groups to participate in designing and managing select biodiversity project areas; (4) strengthening biodiversity negotiation and advocacy skills of relevant government representatives; (5) providing technical assistance to national biodiversity focal points and relevant government institutions to revise laws, policies, and regulations based on localizing biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements; and (6) developing biodiversity finance proposals with experienced writers and government staff (learning by doing).

The project is implemented in Mozambique by the Centro de Aprendizagem e Capacitação da Sociedade Civil (CESC) [Learning and Capacity Building Centre for Civil Society], a Mozambican NGO.

Additional countries and regional entities will also be supported through learning exchanges and actions that strengthen health and rights promotion efforts.

Project activities include: (1) mobilizing international and in-country public-private dialogues on trade facilitation reforms; (2) operationalizing cooperation of the private sector towards Alliance objectives; (3) trade facilitation project concepts with public and private sector perspectives; (4) co-creation and co-implemention of leveraging Alliance-developed inclusive trade methodologies, best practices and measurement tools to inform the design and implementation of trade facilitation projects; and (5) developing and disseminating the Alliance's measurable results, lessons learned, and best practices.

This project aims to continue improving access to primary education and support the learning outcomes of 53,822 primary school students (50% girls) in the 5 most food-insecure districts of Tete province, Mozambique.

This year-long project will strengthen relationships and professional networks and stimulate new opportunities for co-research and co-learning on topics including gender inclusive and anti-racist approaches, Indigenous ways, remote/Indigenous health provider recruitment and retention, and climate impacts on vulnerable groups.
