This project aims to develop a hyperspectral-based capability to map plant species from space, focusing on enhancing spatial resolution of hyperspectral data and assessing its effectiveness for plant species mapping.

As global data demands increase, traditional ground-based networks face challenges related to bandwidth, latency, and data security. To address these issues, Kepler proposes developing an Orbital Cloud Infrastructure Software Stack for its optically connected satellite constellation. This initiative establishes foundational software to enable customers to request computing resources onboard satellites, which are then scheduled and deployed onto available nodes. Initially focusing on simplified, customer-driven resource allocation and basic workload isolation, this approach optimizes satellite resources and supports scalable in-orbit data processing. The objective is to demonstrate, through ground validation, a practical orbital cloud computing environment at TRL-4, while clearly defining a path to more advanced capabilities such as dynamic workload orchestration, comprehensive multi-tenancy, and enhanced security for future phases. This technology significantly reduces barriers to entry for in-orbit data processing, enabling real-time insights and efficient bandwidth utilization across multiple industry applications.

This project aims to develop a trustworthy AI software based on a data-driven predictive-3D technology from a single 2D satellite image. It will provide new high-resolution 3D maps and change-detection to aid in assessing land, agriculture, and provide resilience to topography changes.

Generative AI has the potential to automate a variety of space mission operations tasks across satellite, robotic and human spaceflight missions, reducing the reliance on large teams of operators and analysts, lowering cognitive burden across operators and ultimately disrupting the current paradigm of space mission operations. In this project, Mission Control will build upon its leadership in AI for space by developing the Human-in-the-loop AI assistant for Live operations (HAL): a generative AI assistant designed to respond to analysis, search and summarization task requests common across satellite and robotic space missions alike to enhance operations productivity and efficiency, while ensuring accurate and explainable results. This project will advance Canada’s position as a global leader in AI and space, and lead to further investment, growth, and better overall returns to the company, investors and Canadian public in job creation, Canadian space ecosystem development and talent development.

The objective of this Project is to enhance and expand the reach of the Mining Careers Map by refining and updating its content, translating it into French, and conducting engagement activities to promote mining as a viable and attractive career option for all Canadians.

This project aims to develop and optimize the commercialization strategy for OrganoPlatform and its supporting equipment to enable broader adoption of high-throughput 3D tissue culture systems in pharmaceutical R&D and preclinical testing.

This project is for the development and integration of 2D and 3D CAD data with project activities, bills of materials, ERP system and sales quotes.
