The project supports the core operational capacity of National Associations Active in Criminal Justice (NAACJ) to sustain a national network of voluntary organizations advancing corrections and community reintegration in Canada. By maintaining national leadership and coordination, the project strengthens collaboration, research-informed advocacy, public education, and engagement with Public Safety Canada, contributing to reduced recidivism and improved public safety.

Proactively address the needs of people involved in the criminal justice system by promoting humane and informed criminal and social justice policy, practice, and responsible leadership to foster safer communities. The work is guided by affiliates who are experienced in operating a combined total of 14 Community-based Residential Facilities (CBRFs, also known as halfway houses) across four provinces, in addition to other services like transitional housing for people in conflict with the law.

The project strengthens the capacity of the National Association of Friendship Centres to support justice, safety, and reintegration for Indigenous peoples in urban communities. It will build knowledge, coordination, and evidence-informed tools to address service gaps, strengthen collaboration, and promote culturally grounded justice responses.

Support the delivery of the 2026 and 2027 International Shellfish Festival

The objectives of the Program are:
• promoting volunteerism among seniors;
• engaging seniors in the community through
mentoring of others;
• expanding awareness of elder abuse, including
financial abuse;
• supporting social participation and inclusion of
seniors; and
• providing capital assistance for new and existing
community projects and/or programs for seniors.

CoSA Canada supports the safe and healthy reintegration of individuals with a history of sexual offending to prevent recidivism and further victimization. As a national organization, it strengthens local CoSA sites by promoting evidence‑based best practices, fostering partnerships with government and criminal justice stakeholders, and supporting research, public education, and sustainable funding to enhance community safety.

The Canadian Criminal Justice Association provides the public, criminal justice participants, and concerned observers with balanced information and education on justice issues through such initiatives as Publications, Website, Conferences, speaker series, seminars, congresses and Training opportunities.

The Association des services de réhabilitation sociale du Québec (ASRSQ) is a Canadian nonprofit organization that brings together and supports community-based organizations working toward the social and professional reintegration of individuals with criminal records in Quebec. It promotes collaboration among community organizations, institutional partners, and public authorities to improve support for individuals with criminal records, prevent recidivism, and contribute to public safety. Through its activities supporting organizations, training practitioners, and representing the sector, the ASRSQ directly contributes to social cohesion, the sustainable reintegration of individuals involved with the justice system, and the objectives of Public Safety Canada.

It supports autonomous, contactless health assessments and predictive analytics, enabling early detection of health
deterioration and enhancing primary care delivery across urban, rural, and remote setting. Designed to improve accessibility and inclusivity, the upgraded system supports preventative care in community and home-based settings.

The project advances the work of the organization and network to deliver rights‑based services, to improve conditions in prison, & improve community reintegration outcomes for federally sentenced women & gender diverse people, with particular attention paid to the experience of Indigenous women & gender diverse people.
