This grant supports a legal review by Northwest Territory Métis Nation’s legal counsel as part of a consultative process for a draft bilateral Operational Management Plan between Wood Buffalo National Park and Kátł’odeeche First Nation.

The contribution enables the local Métis community to contribute to the development of a Visitor Centre display and audio visual content for how the story of the Georgian Bay Metis story is shared with visitors at Georgian Bay Islands National Park / Beausoleil Island National Historic Site.

This contribution supports research on hydrological processes and their influence on water balance and water quality of shallow lakes and ponds at the Whooping Crane Nesting Region and Peace-Athabasca Delta within Wood Buffalo National Park.

This project aims to increase the flow of capital to high-impact agricultural small- and medium-sized enterprises (agri-SMEs).This project complements the financial incentives provide through Aceli’s market incentive facility. It supports lenders and agri-SME. Project activities that include: (1) providing technical assistance to agri-SMES at the pre- and post-investment stage to increase their capacity to access and manage financing; (2) building capacity for lenders to adapt their product offering, enhance their staff expertise, improve and create environmental, social, and governance policies; and (3) conducting data and learning activities to inform adjustments to incentive levels and technical assistance as the market evolves.

Strengthening sanitation solutions for rural high schools in Siem Reap by providing bio-sand water filtration system (BSF) for clean, safe drinking water and capacity building to local village leaders to facilitate access to clean water for all community members living around the school.

The Project employs modern machine learning to accelerate the development of industry-ready quantum computing technologies. To this end, the Project addresses the key bottleneck in quantum computing technologies, quantum errors, by pioneering advancements in quantum error prevention and correction through machine learning methods.
