The objective of this project is to convey, via traditional and digital media, to Canadians the excellence of Canadian chicken and the commitment of the farmers who raise it.

Project activities include the production of videos and social media stories to showcase the young farmers.

The objective of this project is to provide a youth with some work experience in the agriculture and agri-food sector.

Prevention, early detection and surveillance, response, management, and reporting of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) are activities that may be supported by providing assistance to Indigenous groups, academia, non-governmental organizations and other Canadian organizations.

The Société d’histoire du Lac-Saint-Jean is seeking to digitize and publish approximately 22,000 photos from the Jean le Photographe fonds, in order to preserve these visual archives, which bear witness to sixty years of regional history, and make them accessible to the public.
The images will be filed in the photo module of the Société d’histoire du Lac-Saint-Jean’s database, on the organization’s website. This will give researchers access to the photo bank online.

The Canadian National Exhibition Foundation (CNEF), in partnership with the Canadian Heritage Photography Foundation (CHPF), aims to digitize 8,000 at-risk photographic negatives from the CNE archival collection.
The negatives will be rehoused by CNE archival staff in preparation for digitization. Once these images have been delivered to the archiving team at CHPF, they will be digitized. CHPF has successfully digitized more than 12,000 images through three consecutive projects funded by the Documentary Heritage Communities Program (DHCP). Once the images have been digitized and the accompanying metadata has been added, they will be uploaded to both the CHPF Digital Collections website and the CNE front-facing website and searchable database.

The collection comprises various media formats, including approximately 1,000 35mm slides, 1,000 photographs, 50 VHS tapes, and 30 posters.

Processing—for the purposes of indexing, preserving and accessing—archives of significance for Îles-de-la-Madeleine related to the founding families of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The aim of the project is to preserve, categorize and describe several fonds in accordance with Rules for Archival Description (RAD) standards, digitize the said fonds, and incorporate them into the catalogue. The project will be instrumental in creating a primer on health in remote regions.

The Accès aux archives de la Chambre de commerce de Drummondville project has three main objectives: processing the organization’s archival fonds; digitizing its content; and publishing the fonds via a consultation module accessible on the SHD website. The documentary collection under the care of the Chambre de commerce de Drummondville, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2022, comprises 23.07 linear metres of textual documents (minutes, annual reports), 11,897 photographs (presidents, industries, businesses) and 76 moving images (business galas), produced from 1901 to 2015.

The project focuses on fonds with a national scope that have never been processed or described to Rules for Archival Description (RAD) standards, despite their heavy use. A project archivist will be hired to appraise, process, arrange, and describe these collections. Descriptions and finding aids will be available through an online database. This will ensure effective knowledge mobilization, allowing Canadian and international researchers and the public to know what collections are held and are available for study.
