The "Logistics and Data Collection for Collaborative Ground-based Measurements in Support of the Arctic Polar Night Experiment (PONEX) Campaign” project will collect measurements of atmospheric gases, particles, winds, temperature and precipitation over Inuvik, NT (86N, 133 W) in January 2026 using instruments based at the Inuvik Airport and at Trail Valley Creek. These measurements will be used, as part of the Arctic POlar Night EXperiment (PONEX) field campaign, to better understand and model the atmosphere during polar night. They will also be used to assess measurements from Earth Observing satellites and research aircraft. The team located on-site in Inuvik will include students and young researchers from three Canadian universities, who will gain valuable skills and enhance their career training through this campaign experience.

The firm is seeking to improve the assembly process for skis and snowboards manufactured using compression lamination. Following their research and discussions with various automation solution providers, it is clear that assembly operations in factories still pose a significant challenge for automation or robotization, as this type of workstation is rarely, if ever, 100% automated or robotized.

Knowledge mobilization products will be tailored for rural public audiences through the Neighbours, Friends and Families (NFF) infrastructure; for family law professionals through the Family Violence, Family Law (FVFL) Awareness to Action partnerships; for communities of practice and knowledge mobilization networks; and for GBV service providers through Canada’s leading knowledge mobilization resource for this sector, the Learning Network (LN).

The project will develop three learning modules: in-person workshops, online modules, and a module designed for professionals and organizations, including those working with diverse groups.

It involves providing RMC with an enhanced program, further developing a toolkit of resources for cadets, senior students, and staff based on best practices and lessons learned from a previously funded project.
