The goal is to assertively capture a larger market share by showcasing superior capabilities.

In its artificial intelligence-driven project, Discovery Solutions seeks to revolutionize its legacy ERP system by integrating AI functionalities for efficient code translation and migration. At its heart is an AI code generation tool that can convert legacy system code to Python, preserving core features and logic. This tool will also aid in harmonizing the evolved system with existing technology infrastructure and addressing technical challenges. The project also envisages meaningful collaborations with QA teams for thorough testing of the AI-generated code and continuous improvements based on feedback and performance. The successful project will make a significant contribution to Discovery Solutions and the Canadian economy.

The project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the firm.

This project perfectly aligns with Canada's commitment to transparently manage public resources, ensuring effective utilization and measurable results.

SimTec MD is undertaking a project to tackle the challenges faced by medical institutions in implementing competency-based medical education (CBME) through entrusted professional activities (EPA) frameworks. These challenges involve providing sufficient practice opportunities for students and effectively monitoring their progress. This pioneering effort in Canada aims to enhance clinical skills, boost learner confidence, streamline competence validation, provide administrative oversight, and potentially address the doctor shortage crisis. The project timeline spans 18 months, including the development and refinement of clinical scenarios for each EPA.

Developing a high-tech AI/Machine Vision system that automates visual quality control (QC) and grading in cannabis processing – an industry first. This technology will create a standardized QC process, eliminating costly and reputationally damaging end-product recalls, reducing waste and batch downgrading, and ultimately creating a platform for quantitative valuation for B2B sales and exporting.

As part of the international consortium project “Breakthrough Light-weight Actuators for Zero Emission Automotive and Aerospace Applications”, this project, Germany ZIM Call 11 - BLAZE - Breakthrough Light-weight Actuators for Zero Emission Automotive and Aerospace Applications, will focus on the diverse applications of SMAs and their exceptional properties which hold immense potential for technological advancement in various industries, including automotive and aerospace. To accelerate the commercialization of SMAs, this research project will develop a novel high-temperature shape memory alloy (HTSMA) wire, solidify the manufacturing process, and integrate the HTSMA wire into a standardized SMA actuator working with our German partner, Hoffmann Kunststoffe.
