This project will allow Fédération CJA to receive and further distribute funds to eligible Jewish community organizations for eligible project activities. As a result of this project, the population that uses the facility will feel safer from hate-motivated incidents/crimes.

Following the passing of the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney, former Prime Minister Trudeau designated the March 2024 State Funeral as a Major International Event, assigning the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to lead security operations with support from local police services.

The Province of Newfoundland and Labrador will provide funding to all eligible Community Tripartite Agreement (CTA) holders to establish and maintain Community Consultative Groups (CCGs) boards. The outcome of the project is to have functioning CCG boards which will increase engagement between the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and communities and establish Letters of Expectation for the RCMP.

This project will enhance community-based policing services to the Inuit communities of Makkovik, Rigolet, Nain and Hopedale, by funding one (1) Community Safety Officer (CSO) per community and improve on community connection, including the relationship between Inuit community members and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The Community Safety Officers act as liaisons between local community members and the RCMP to ensure police response considers culture and traditions.

This project will fund the construction of a new police facility in Curve Lake, Ontario, and the procurement of all necessary furniture, fixtures and equipment. The new facility will improve the delivery of professional police services to the community residents and will provide a safe and secure environment for officers, staff, and other occupants.

The project aims to support the purchase of material/furniture's for the renovations of the police station. Officers of the Abenaki Police Force will have access to essential and necessary resources in order to perform their duties safely and efficiently, as well as be better equipped to ensure the safety of the community in which they work. The funding related to the renovations and expansion of the police station will contribute to First Nation and Inuit communities having better access to professional, dedicated, and responsive police services.

The purpose of this contribution is to reduce the over-incarceration of Indigenous youth by creating a culturally relevant Youth Justice Diversion Program. Through a needs assessment, traditional practices, community-based solutions, and mentorship from Indigenous elders, the program will prevent the cycle of incarceration and recidivism.

This project seeks to deploy an automated phytoplankton imaging sensor, and a system to measure surface water concentrations of dimethylsulfide (DMS). In collaboration with the Chilean Antarctica21 Foundation (A21) and the Chilean Antarctic Institute (INACH), the University of British Columbia proposes to install automated oceanographic sensors on board the passenger vessel, Magellan Discoverer, for long-term observations of surface ocean properties along the West Antarctic Peninsula (WAP).
