This project will refurbish Ford’s Oakville Assembly Complex (OAC) in Ontario to support the production of the F-Series Super Duty truck and establish a new onsite stamping facility for Super Duty vehicles. The project’s work phase is scheduled to end on December 31, 2029.

This project aims to upgrade and renovate an acquired copper foil manufacturing facility in Granby, Quebec, to produce battery-grade copper foil for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage systems (ESS). The project’s work phase is scheduled to end on March 31, 2027.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Saugeen Ojibway Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Ontario Pumped Storage Hydropower Project.

March 2026 - Sudan is facing one of the world’s most severe and complex humanitarian crises, driven by armed conflict, mass displacement, collapsing state institutions, and recurring disease outbreaks. The ongoing conflict has resulted in the largest internally displaced population globally and the collapse of livelihoods, markets, and services across the country.

The OIF uses these funds and other donors’ funding to achieve its mandate and implement programming aimed at improving the well-being of populations across the Francophone world, particularly young people and women. Through this funding, Canada supports the OIF’s efforts to promote the French language and Francophone cultural products; strengthen peace, democratic governance, human rights, and gender equality; improve access to quality education and training for young people; promote trade within the Francophone world; and increase resilience and empowerment in response to economic, environmental and social challenges.

Since 1970, the OIF has conducted its work in partnership with all Francophonie institutions, civil society, Francophone institutional networks, the private sector, and international and regional organisations across all five continents. It pursues its objectives through advocacy, the development and sharing of tools, the dissemination of best practices, support for public policies, capacity building, and the financing of development projects. The organisation integrates the cross-cutting priorities of gender equality and youth into the achievement of its strategic objectives. The OIF aligns its efforts with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and implements its activities in accordance with the principles of aid effectiveness and international standards for results-based management.

February 2026 - Food insecurity remains at alarming level in many countries, driven by conflicts, climate change, and economic shocks.

Gavi’s long-term mission is saving lives and protecting people’s health by increasing equitable and sustainable vaccine use. This project supports Gavi's four strategic goals for the 2026-2030 period. Project activities include: introducing and scaling up vaccines against infectious disease, including human papillomavirus and malaria, through procurement and delivery support; (2) supporting and strengthening health systems to increase immunization equity, including dedicated support to extend immunization services to under-immunized and zero-dose children; (3) improving the sustainability of national immunizations programs; and (4) ensuring healthy markets for vaccines and related products.

Canada's assessed contribution to European Commission

This grant represents Canada’s long-term institutional support to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria uses these funds and other donors’ funding, to achieve its mandate. Created in 2002, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a unique, public-private partnership and leading international financing institution dedicated to mobilizing additional resources to prevent and treat AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. It is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector, and affected communities that represents an innovative approach to international health financing. This grant supports the Global Fund’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan, the primary objective of which is to end AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, with a focus on making catalytic investments and leveraging innovations for faster progress in reducing new infections in 126 low and middle-income countries. The Global Fund’s model centers on the concepts of country ownership and performance-based funding, which means that organizations and institutions in developing countries implement their programs based on their priorities and must be able to show achieved results. This grant contributes towards meeting the Sustainable development goal target of eliminating HIV, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics by 2030 by supporting countries to scale up treatment and prevention services. This grant also contributes to improving the health and rights of women, adolescents and children by breaking down barriers to access to life-saving prevention and treatment services. It also focuses on international assistance efforts on helping the poorest and most vulnerable. To date, the Global fund has saved over 70 million lives.

The purpose of this agreement is to assist the Radiation Safety Institute of Canada in participating in the Commission meeting for BWXT's mid-term review.
