The contribution supports Tsuut’ina Nation, as part of the Banff Indigenous Advisory Circle Lake Louise Working Group, for planning that enables the presentation of Indigenous cultural heritage in Banff National Park and supports the Indigenous Stewardship Policy.

This grant supports First Nations consultations to explore land use options for the remaining Pickering Airport lands incorporating Indigenous conservation perspectives to support identification of high conservation value lands. The grant also supports exploring stewardship models and governance systems of interest to First Nations Communities.

This contribution supports the presentation of Canadian maritime traditions at the international Pasaia Itsas Festibala Maritime Festival. It will highlight the shared Basque–Atlantic Canadian history of Red Bay and support cultural exchange between Indigenous, Inuit, and Atlantic maritime traditions.

“Engagement on the Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks Fire Management Plan Renewal Process”: This contribution supports Indigenous engagement activities during the development of the Fire Management Plan for Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks.
“Facilitation and engagement for the development of a multi-species action plan for Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks”: This contribution supports facilitation and engagement processes to collaboratively develop a multi-species action plan that advances species conservation and recovery in Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks.

This contribution supports Salt River First Nation to actively participate in the Wood Buffalo National Park Cooperative Management Committee and its associated Indigenous Caucus.

This contribution supports Hay River Métis Government Council to actively participate in the Wood Buffalo National Park Cooperative Management Committee and its associated Indigenous Caucus.

This contribution supports the employment of youth, especially youth facing barriers to employment, with a particular focus on women, Indigenous youth, racialized youth, Black youth, youth with disabilities, those from Official Language Minority Communities, those from rural and remote communities, and 2SLGBTQI+ youth. Youth will be employed in the conservation and enjoyment of natural and cultural heritage in locations across Canada. This initiative is part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy initiative.

The project involves identifying specific nutritional requirements and appropriate dosage forms for high-performance athletes.

Project NODE develops a new class of deterministic, room-temperature quantum-network components based on optical parametric amplifiers (OPAs). These devices, long used in classical fibre telecommunication systems and electronics, can generate, strengthen, entangle, and measure quantum light, offering a unified solution to the limitations of today’s probabilistic and often cryogenic quantum technologies. The project will build and test broadband OPAs at telecom wavelengths, explore how they operate from conventional “classical-pump’’ regimes to genuinely quantum regimes where the pump and light fields become correlated, and determine how these capabilities can be deployed in real quantum-network settings. Through coordinated work at NRC, University of Ottawa, and Polytechnique Montréal, the project will establish OPAs as practical building blocks for future quantum networks and identify the most promising near-term applications. By enabling deterministic, high-speed optical interconnects, Project NODE strengthens Canada’s leadership in quantum networking and supports the development of scalable quantum technologies.
