The purpose of this agreement is to support engagement on Regional Tables with the Government of Canada.

Deliver the Digital Adoption Connector conference event (DAC2023) in Vancouver, B.C.

This contribution supports the participation of Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation in the implementation of the Action Plan for Wood Buffalo National Park World Heritage Site.

This contribution supports the North American Marine Protected Areas Network (NAMPAN), whose aim is to foster a community of practice between Marine Protected Areas (MPA) managers and practitioners from Canada, Mexico and the USA, where they can consider common issues and challenges and share information and best practices. Discussions between MPA practitioners will be initiated through interactive sessions providing facilitated discussions into specific technical and operational topics.

To support the restoration of the original wooden floors in the chapel, which date back to the chapel’s opening in 1878.

This funding represents a contribution to Canada’s institutional support to the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) to finance their role implementing activities to advance the work of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC). The UNDP has been selected by the GPEDC as a partner due to their extensive country network. This funding, along with other donors’ contributions, will help the GPEDC achieve its mandate of improving the effectiveness of development cooperation, including through its monitoring process and its inclusive global platform bringing together governments, civil society, the private sector, trade unions, parliamentarians, and others.

The 2023-2026 Programme of work of the GPEDC focuses on alignment of development cooperation efforts with the Busan effectiveness principles (Ownership by partner countries, a focus on results, inclusive partnerships, and transparency & mutual accountability) through its reformed monitoring process at country level which will feed data to and enable the realization of SDG 17 on partnerships.

The project aims to reduce child malnutrition, improve attendance and school success of Haitian schoolchildren by providing them with a daily meal as a way to promote their school enrollment. The project also aims to increase income and longer-term resilience for smallholder farmers by promoting the purchase of local food products in order to support the creation of employment opportunities and build local capacities.

Promoting wellbeing through education for girls from refugee and vulnerable migrant families in Cairo

Provision of health services to the Maungwa Community through access to water and sanitation services.

Helping to maintain a climate of peace in Benin by building media stakeholders’ capacity to process and share information about terrorism and human rights.
