This contribution supports Qalipu First Nation in determining the feasibility of establishing a National Marine Conservation Area in the South Coast Fjords Area and of redesignating Sandbanks Provincial Park as a National Park in Southwestern Newfoundland.

This grant supports Pauquachin First Nation’s participation in Visioning Session II hosted by Malahat First Nation on January 26 and 27, 2024. Visioning Session II will bring together 11 Nations already participating in the Indigenous Management Board (IMB) in the vicinity of Gulf Islands National Park Reserve (GINPR) to work toward comanagement in GINPR.

Promoting new voices (especially women) in public policy debates and public opinion shaping in the Republic of Moldova.

Local elections in Moldova: an informational campaign about the election process (the right to participate, including to vote or to be elected).

Media education through the lens of the camera.

Project activities include: (1) training 40 Youth Emergency Action Committee (YEAC) volunteers to become peer responders; (2) equipping 80 at-risk youths with enhanced emergency response skills through a certified training program; and (3) encouraging collaboration between the 40 YEAC volunteers and 80 at-risk youths on 3 community service and outreach activities, providing at-risk youths an opportunity to give back to the community.

This Project supports the Canadian community’s efforts to attract, retain and expand foreign direct investment (FDI) and is ultimately designed to strengthen the economy at the community level.

To address systemic racism and discrimination in Canada’s health systems by striving to ensure high quality health services are efficient and accessible, and by reducing health inequalities.

To support the federal government’s commitment to maintain a strong and effective publicly funded health care system through investments in emerging and demonstrated innovations in priority areas, such as palliative and end-of-life care, home and community care, mental health care and other federal, provincial-territorial and emerging priorities.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Lac Seul First Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Great Bear Gold Project.
