Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage - Local Arts and Heritage Festivals

This project aims to contribute to redistributing unpaid care work for approximately 6 million people in 8 African countries. It does so by increasing recognition and information about unpaid care, and representing the voice of unpaid care workers.
The project seeks to increase the representation of unpaid care workers in public dialogues by building the capacity among broadcasters and producers of 15 radio stations to implement an on-air dialogue (OAD) approach.

With GAC’s support, the Canadian Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) are working to save lives and help reduce the suffering of people affected by flooding. Project activities include: (1) providing multi-purpose cash to meet basic needs and avoid negative coping strategies; (2) distributing in-kind relief items such as food, non-food items, and emergency shelter support; and (3) providing emergency healthcare and protection services, including mental health and psychosocial support.

Increasing awareness of gender-based violence and trafficking in Solomon Islands through an advocacy campaign that will create short films, social media posts and awareness material for the Native Lens film festival, 16 days of Activism campaign and 2023 Pacific Games.

The purpose of this funding is for Mississauga Nation to hire two internal resources and to help fund the administrative costs to liaise and coordinate activities with CNSC staff related to CNSC-regulated facilities and activities of interest for a period of two years on behalf of Curve Lake First Nation and Hiawatha First Nation.

The purpose of this funding is for Saugeen Ojibway Nation to hire two internal resources to liaise and coordinate activities with CNSC staff related to CNSC-regulated facilities and activities of interest, and to support their Coastal Waters Monitoring Program, for a period of two years on behalf of the communities of Neyaashiinigmiing and Saugeen.

The purpose of this funding is to support the Manitoba Metis Federation in observing the CNSC's compliance verification process.

To encourage scientific research and related scientific activities (e.g. data collection, integration, monitoring, and communication, including communication via conferences and symposia) and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the areas of: (a) Fisheries and Aquaculture Science; (b) Ecosystem Science; (c) Oceanography and Modelling; and (d) Freshwater Science.

The business development coordinator will accelerate access to new customers, set up the tools needed to monitor markets and track customer satisfaction. She may also organize and attend trade shows and cocktail parties to promote the company.
