Through this 31-month project, CANVAS Arts Action Programs (CANVAS) will scale their Consent Kit Program, aimed at preventing GBV in schools, to strengthen the GBV sector. It will scale to include the Peel District School Board (PDSB), which has the highest percentage of students identifying with a racialized group. CANVAS’ Consent Kit program will increase safety and cultivate more inclusive schools for both survivors and populations at-risk of experiencing GBV across the PDSB. To do so, the organization will revise their Consent Kit program following consultations; build new partnerships and programming; and deliver the Consent Kit program to students and teachers in the PDSB. CANVAS will share evaluation findings and promising practices from the Consent Kit project through in-person conference(s), online activities, and with WAGE’s GBV Knowledge Centre so that others may replicate it or expand upon it.

The funding supports projects that aim to recruit, retain and help both women apprentices succeed in at least 1 of the 39 eligible Red Seal trades by:
1. creating partnerships with women’s groups, community colleges, unions or employers to recruit women
2. organizing women-led events as an outreach tool to help attract women to the trades industry
3. offering mentorship by female role models, women-in-the-skilled-trades networks, and opportunities to share success stories
4. creating a welcoming space where women can feel comfortable and safe in the training and work sites

The objectives for CSC are to create, promote and facilitate access to service opportunities that are meaningful to young Canadian, and support lasting civic engagement, as well as to provide youth with life and work skills.

Participate in a study tour to Ottawa as part of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas and Study in Canada Scholarships Programs

Provide training sessions and workshops for the Meadow Lake Tribal Council Justice Team.

Canada's Fisheries Fund will transform and drive innovation in the fish and seafood sector in Canada with a focus on developing the sector to better meet growing market demands for sustainably sourced, high-quality fish and seafood products.

The objectives of this project are to predict and reduce employee turnover, decrease turnover costs, and enhance HR management through scenario analysis by developing a SaaS offering. This software solution utilizes a generic machine learning algorithm to analyze historical data and identify segments within organizations with a higher probability of employee attrition by simulating scenarios to assess the outcomes of modifying relevant attributes.
