This project provides an opportunity for a recent University Graduate to gain valuable industry experience at Source Nutraceutical, Inc., a Canadian consulting firm and contract research organization (CRO). The Junior Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trial Specialist (JRACT Specialist) will be given exposure to, and training in, SNI’s strategic consulting and contract research services. They will gain an introductory understanding of various Canadian regulatory affairs processes; evidence requirements for Canadian health claims; and an understanding of clinical trial operations. This will include exposure to study recruitment processes; participant consent; study operations; data & sample management; statistics; and post-study reporting.

The role of a Marketing Coordinator is to spearhead our expansion into the USA market. As we grow in the energy industry, we require a skilled professional to coordinate marketing activities, manage events and tradeshows across North America, maintain our website, and ensure successful product launches in Canada and the USA.

The Modelar 3D mapping system uses inexpensive mobile devices (iPhones and iPads) with LiDAR sensors to quickly scan areas and create 3D point clouds and triangulated meshes in real-time. It can then upload the resulting information to a cloud management system to manage, organize, and visualize the collected data. The 3D point clouds and meshes that Modelar now collects are inherently useful, but augmenting them with spatially referenced annotations, high-resolution imagery, video and audio would make them more valuable for inspection workflows. We propose to enhance Modelar so that it can collect this data in the field, manage it in the cloud, and extract meaningful content from it using machine learning.

Our project is to upgrade our software front-end and backend to make it more user friendly which will help take our software as a service model and have a software only option. This will help us scale into new markets without having to staff a big team. It will also help us attract new talent to our software team as we will be switch from EmberJS to React.

XK Innovate is designing and testing an inspection device that will be inserted into operational transmission mains and allowed to flow with the water while collecting condition assessment and leak detection information.
