The R&D project involves making the most of all the firm’s accumulated data, which is not yet being exploited to its full potential. In particular, the integration of artificial intelligence tools into the entire process will: 1) Accelerate and increase the precision of the automated prescription process; 2) Reduce the overall infrastructure costs of the firm’s platforms; 3) Develop innovative new functionalities to constantly accentuate the break with traditional engineering.

Quickly proposes a comprehensive technical project aimed at integrating multiple accounting systems with our existing platform. This initiative focuses on developing robust adapters for each accounting system, implementing solutions for both cloud-based and on-premises software, and enhancing the platform’s data mapping and transaction tracking capabilities. Additionally, we aim to improve payment processing functionality by enabling client suppliers to onboard with their banking information, facilitating seamless transactions, and ensuring accurate financial records.

To develop kayak molds and a manufacturing process utilizing newly developed thermally stable laminating materials and an oven curing system.

Battery Cells need to be tested and validated before being installed into a battery pack. Electrical End of Line Testing includes, OCV, IV, DCIR, ACIR, and EIS tests. While the testing is well studied in laboratory settings, there is high technical uncertainty on it's application to high volume automotive production systems. The intent of this project is to establish the baseline parameters for cycle time, contact pressure, electrical noise, and accuracy required to meet specifications. From that information, the high volume production system can be designed and manufactured.

RFINE Biomass Solutions Inc. is developing the KAFFIKA technology to efficiently process spent coffee grounds (SCG). This project aims to process 100 kg of SCG in 15 hours, advancing the technology from TRL 2 to TRL 6. Key activities include redesigning the core processing technology, producing and validating prototypes, and integrating the system for commercial readiness. Testing will be conducted by the RFINE engineering at BioFoodTech and in-store pilot locations, ensuring the technology meets operational and environmental standards for scalable deployment.

Tool for benchmarking the performance a vendor's microcontroller units against those of other vendors using different versions of the "YOLO" family of object detection models.

Creation of a standardized SaaS portal to create a generic, flexible and adaptable experience for all simulation and optimization projects.

The goal of this project is to help give potential Canadian berry producers a baseline of knowledge regarding the best structures, planting system and varieties to grow this segment and begin contributing more Canadian grown fresh fruit over a longer period of time for Canadian consumers. EZ Grow will leverage their extensive internal experience as well as the technical contacts gained from their successful plant growing operation to test and demonstrate the most current practices at this site for the benefit of those potential producers.
