The project will combine U-band imaging from the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) with Euclid, Subaru, and Spitzer data in the Euclid Deep Field North to produce photometric catalogs of millions of galaxies over an unprecedented combination of area (10 sq deg) and depth (27 mag). The U-band data we will add to this dataset is key for accurate photometric redshifts and measuring rates of star formation in galaxies.

To test this scenario, this project uses JWST’s Integral Field Spectrograph to observationally and in detail examine an archetypical example of such a merging system that we discovered just one billion years after the Big Bang.

RMHC® Atlantic is constructing a new Ronald McDonald House in the Maritimes, situated at 5940 South Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The facility will be located directly across the street from the IWK Health Centre which is the only children’s hospital in the Maritimes, and the largest facility in Atlantic Canada caring for patients under 21 years of age. This expansion aims to double the number of families served annually from 600 to 1,200, while also broadening the range of support programs available during their stay. The initiative prioritizes increased support for equity-deserving groups, including low-income families, as well as Indigenous, First Nations, racially visible, and immigrant
families. Funding from Canada will facilitate the project's transition to net zero carbon, enhancing sustainability and aligning with environmental objectives. Moreover, the funding enables the integration of additional accessible features, catering to the diverse needs of the population served by RMHC® Atlantic.

Recent progress in the field of cosmology has been spectacular but has thrown up some big questions: we don't know what the dominant constituents of the Universe – dark matter and dark energy - are, or even why they are present. 2025-2028 will be an extremely important period for cosmology with surveys using the ESA-led Euclid satellite mission, and the NASA-led Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope spearheading experimental advances.

Leveraging a proprietary wireless network, machine learning and big data analytics, we help growers manage risks associated with frost, pollination, bloom, disease and harvest.  

Our clients can zero in on specific faults in the building envelope to make data-driven retrofit decisions and capital plans. We calculate: i) energy losses and GHG emissions associated with building envelope elements (walls, windows, doors, etc.), ii) remediation/upgrade costs, and iii) projected ROIs of retrofit projects.

The purpose of this project is to strengthen the participation of Indigenous entities in capturing and sharing wildfire knowledge and developing of tools and resources.

Project activities include (1) Providing training to develop capacities of state, local actors, NGOs, and local communities to plan, implement, and mobilize resources for integrated landscape management; (2) Establishing and operating 160 climate-sensitive farmer field and business schools to promote climate-resilient agricultural technologies and practices; (3) Train women through 12 WE-FBS (Women’s Empowerment Farm Business School) to develop and management at least 12 agri-food enterprises; (4) Provide training and other supports to farmers in establishing and rehabilitating agricultural assets, including water and food storage systems, for agri-food value chains; and (5) Providing training and other support to strengthen the capacities of government and non-state actors for gender-responsive Climate-Smart Agriculture, landscape management, and sustainable agri-food value chains.

This data includes vehicle telemetry, health, and operational data including fuel consumption, emissions, cycle time etc. We have more than 400 hardware systems (Symbot) installed North America.

The project undertaken with SDTC enables the large-scale deployment of our technology, which supports our scientific approach, as we will have access to a quantity and quality of data that we would not otherwise have been able to obtain.
