Contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife and to protect aquatic species at risk.

The purpose of the Indigenous Habitat Participation Program and the Salish Sea Initiative, is to support the participation of Indigenous peoples in activities relating to the conservation and protection of fish and fish habitat, including the development of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans’ (DFO) policies, program elements and regulations and the development of their technical capacity to support greater involvement in the conservation and protection of fish and fish habitat.

Support Indigenous groups as they develop, grow and maintain aquatic resource and oceans management departments that can provide fisheries, habitat, science, and oceans related services along a watershed.

The Women in Action project aims to increase climate change adaptation among vulnerable girls and women in the agricultural and forestry sectors in Sud- and Nord-Kivu, with benefits in terms of the conservation and restoration of forest biodiversity. Project activities include: (1) developing and equipping sites for climate-smart agricultural and agroforestry practices and nature-based restoration solutions; (2) providing protected-area managers, community leaders and private operators with training on positive masculinity and gender-based violence, and supporting the establishment of mechanisms to protect the rights of young women and women; and (3) providing technical support to forest concessions in local communities in terms of developing and monitoring simple management plans that prioritize the conservation and restoration of biodiversity, and supporting young women’s and women’s adaptation to climate change.
The project’s beneficiaries, who will receive training on positive masculinity, are estimated to be over 5,000 men.

Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to Northwatch Coalition for Environmental Protection to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Regional Assessment in the Ring of Fire Area.

Contribution as part of the Indigenous Capacity Support Program to Innu Nation to assist in improving assessments, policy engagement, assessment monitoring and follow-up activities.

International Co-innovation Action Program (ICAP) project. Identify a private or public water management firm in Brazil to develop a co-innovation partnership for the adaptability of a pump synchronization system developed in a Quebec laboratory.

Optimization of fleet and mobile asset management, as well as monitoring of vehicles' mechanical and physical conditions.

Hiring of a young production engineer to implement technical process improvements with a direct impact on the firm's productivity.

The FORMAT project involves the development of a completely new, boxless, all-steel kitchen system.
