Oceans Ltd is currently developing an Iceberg profiling system to collect data using a submersible remote sonar unit connected to a topside or “deck” control unit using a power/communications cable. Both the remote and topside units are controlled by small, ”Raspberry Pi” Single Board Computers. The collected data is later processed on a Windows based PC using the Iceberg Profiling Software, to produce 3D models of the profiled icebergs.

In this project, the objective is to port the system software of the Topside or “Deck” unit to an updated hardware platform consisting of a ruggedized Windows PC. This will improve the performance of the system and allow further enhancements to the data collection system.

The aim of the project is to develop "Fundraising in a Box", a platform designed to automate time consuming and complex tasks associated with data collection and usage in the non-profit sector.

Etee has developed novel IP in the form of a backyard compostable refill pod to hold super concentrated (up to 90% concentration of the leading brands) household cleaners and personal care products.

The pod is composed of biodegradable hemp dust (Manitoba), algae (Ontario), natural waxes (US), oils and tree resins (Indonesia).

Etee has sold over 400,000 pods to date, and see an opportunity to double the output, including licensing opportunities with partner organizations. The biggest obstacle to achieving this goal is the leak and break rate during shipment and smell transfer from the pod to Etee's personal care products. The purpose of this project is to reduce leaks, breaks and smell transfer through a new & novel formulation.

Accelerating YoGPS GPS Tracking solution’s growth and creating Brand awareness and credibility to improve revenue.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide funding to SIIT for the development and implementation of courses for Net-Zero buildings for post-secondary and professionals for all trades. The Project is centered on providing education and awareness initiatives to Indigenous communities with a goal of removing barriers to participation and increasing First Nation capacity for energy efficiency in residential housing.

This project advances the Government of Canada commitment to plant an additional two billion new trees over the next 10 years as part of a broader approach to nature-based climate solutions.

This grant supports the development of the 10-Year Monitoring Report which will detail the current state of the natural, cultural and/or recreational values of the Cowichan River as part of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System.
