This project aims to enhance the resilience of marginalized rural youth, especially young women, in five districts across the climate vulnerable East Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi provinces in Indonesia. It will directly benefit 4,000 youth aged 18-29 (70% women), including 160 youth farmers with disabilities (aged 18-35) and engage approximately 415 intermediaries including community leaders, local government stakeholders and local protection actors. Project activities include: (1) conducting gender-transformative life skills training with rural youth; (2) equipping young farmers with climate-smart agriculture technologies, entrepreneurial skills and small grants to implement innovative business ideas; (3) working with local government and youth farmers to advocate for inclusive policies for effective climate action.

This project aims to increase gender equality and women’s leadership in climate mitigation and adaptation in Indonesia by strengthening women’s rights organizations and grassroots groups across 13 climate-vulnerable districts in eight provinces. The project will enhance household resilience, expand women-led green enterprises, and strengthen local value chains. Project activities include: (1) establishing capacity-strengthening and leadership programs for women’s rights organizations, grassroots groups and feminist leaders on gender-inclusive climate action; (2) providing business and technical training to women-led green enterprises to implement climate solutions; (3) engaging with government stakeholders to integrate gender equality and climate justice into policy decision.

The project supports essential activities to ensure post-war elections in Ukraine are credible, inclusive, and well-prepared.

This project aims to create diversified, sustainable and inclusive trade, business and economic opportunities for people in Central America and the Andean region, including women and vulnerable populations. It does so by strengthening public institutions, improving trade, business, and investment policies and programs, and by fostering equitable access to economic opportunities. Project activities include: (1) designing and delivering an on-demand technical assistance deployment platform that quickly responds to emerging needs of stakeholders and engages them at every stage.

Through gender-responsive, disaster resilient agriculture, access to innovative disaster risk financing, and enhanced responsiveness of local communities, the initiative reduces vulnerability and strengthens livelihoods of women in Mindanao and the Eastern Visayas. The project will also generate positive spillover benefits for an estimated 36,000 indirect beneficiaries, primarily household members and employees, by improving land-use planning, local disaster resilience, and economic opportunities across agricultural value chains.

The project aims to promote gender equality and the economic empowerment of market vendors, with specific attention to the needs and aspirations of women market vendors.

The project aims to reinforce Haiti’s ability to prevent, detect, investigate, prosecute, and adjudicate corruption, economic crimes and money laundering cases, while also supporting the operationalization of the two specialized judicial poles that were created in April 2025 in Haiti with the mandates to strengthen the investigation and prosecution of corruption and complex financial crimes, and to address grave human rights violations and cases involving organized criminal networks.
The project will work with local civil society organisations in their efforts to advocate for government accountability and exert pressure for greater transparency and judicial efficiency and integrity. As part of the project, UNODC will also provide resources and engage the media, investigative journalists, and the private sector through targeted training and capacities-building initiatives to strengthen evidence-based reporting, safe denunciation mechanisms and more effective collaboration with oversight and judicial authorities in the fight against corruption.
The UNODC will work with the OAS (Organisation of American States) and the OHCHR (Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights) in the implementation of this project.
Project activities include: (1) providing resources, secure digital infrastructure, and training for magistrates of the specialized judicial units to ensure better coordination on justice processes ; (2) providing support, equipment and training to the Joint Task Force on Anti-Corruption to increase their capacities to effectively detect, investigate and prosecute corruption cases, including in collaboration with international partners ; (3) developing national anti-corruption and anti-money laundering strategies and support the development of legislative and institutional frameworks for combatting financial crimes ; (4) providing support to the media and the private sector to denounce and report corruption, and organizing anti-awareness campaigns and supporting the civil society in their advocacy for anti-corruption reforms and effective prosecution.

This project aims to increase the effectiveness, inclusiveness, and sustainability of financing in the border regions of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). In response to the complex challenges facing these areas—marked by socioeconomic, security, and environmental vulnerabilities. The project aims to provide donors and regional institutions with strategic analytical tools to guide more coherent interventions that are sensitive to local dynamics. Project activities include: 1) developing an analytical report detailing the main challenges, needs, and vulnerabilities in the WAEMU border areas, based on disaggregated data, including gender-specific and climate data; 2) developing a synthesis document identifying lessons learned and good practices from previous projects, intended for donors and regional integration organizations; 3) providing a strategic note with concrete recommendations to support the design of future interventions that are better aligned with realities on the ground.

This project aims to reduce threats to Canadians and the international community posed by the proliferation and use of weapons of mass destruction. Project activities include: (1) implementing national capability assessment and training processes in high-priority countries to build nuclear counter-smuggling capabilities; and (2) implementing regional Geiger working groups gathering law enforcement and security service agencies.

This project aims to reduce the threat to the global population of a nuclear or radiological security event. It seeks to enhance the cybersecurity resilience of nuclear facilities in Ukraine, and in countries in the Indo-Pacific, Latin America and Africa. Project activities include: (1) assessing beneficiaries’ cybersecurity knowledge, skills and policies; (2) delivering tailored online courses; (3) conducting simulation attack exercises; and (4) developing policy recommendations in line with international best practices.
