The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:
• To provide recognition and funding to academic health research trainees;
• To provide a reliable supply of highly skilled and qualified researchers.

The Project Grant program is expected to:
• Support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization;
• Promote relevant collaborations across disciplines, professions, and sectors; and
• Contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:

• Support original, high quality research in digital health that has the potential to generate pilot data for future research (e.g. Project Grant and funding at other Agencies/Councils), including research into evaluation, scale up, or implementation of a digital health product, platform or application.
• Incentivize research that focuses on digital health solutions for the CIHR-IMHA mandate areas.
• Foster a community of CIHR-IMHA digital health researchers that partner with Canadian leaders in equitable digital science.
• Provide research leadership, stimulate innovative research and practice, and strengthen research capacity by dedicating funds to early and mid-career researchers as part of CIHR-IMHA’s commitment to Nurture Leaders.
• Strengthen health research through the incorporation of patient and/or community engagement.

The objectives of this funding opportunity are: 1. Generate robust, timely, and relevant evidence on the drivers of clade 1b mpox emergence and spread in Africa and globally, and on public health interventions and risk management strategies to prevent, control, and mitigate the spread of clade 1b mpox. 2. Mobilize evidence to support policymakers, clinicians, public health actors, and high-risk communities in Africa and Canada to better prevent, prepare for, and respond to mpox outbreaks (including but not limited to clade 1b mpox)

The objectives of this funding opportunity are: 1. Mobilize evidence to support policymakers, clinicians, public health actors, and high-risk communities in Africa and Canada to better prevent, prepare for, and respond to mpox outbreaks (including but not limited to clade 1b mpox)

The annual assessed contribution enables Canada to meet its financial obligations to the Hague Conference on Private International Law, as well as fulfilling Canada's international policy objectives.

Provide financial assistance to an individual Canadian victim of a specified serious violent crime in a foreign jurisdiction for emergency situations of undue hardship where no other source of financial assistance is available (specified categories of crimes are homicide, sexual assault, aggravated assault or assault with serious personal violence, or threat of serious violence, including against a child) or to an individual support person to accompany, attend with or support a Canadian victimized in a foreign jurisdiction. A total of 28 individuals were approved to receive financial assistance in this regard.
