Additionally, supplemental funds will be used to conduct an intensive 3-day Train-the-Trainer certification program.

Through this 30-month project, The Redwood will scale their Safety Assessment and Risk Management (SARM) framework Ontario-wide to strengthen the GBV sector. It will address the need for the Violence Against Women sector to uphold a higher standard of GBV screening and safety planning and address the fallout from the widening service gap by offering a tool that develops strategies to reduce violence and mitigate risks from a survivor-centred approach.

To do so, the project will (1) identify service gaps and map coordination channels throughout Ontario; (2) conduct focus groups with survivors, service providers and subject-matter experts; (3) use gathered knowledge to develop a revised, more inclusive version of the SARM practice model in both official languages; (4) develop a comprehensive training curriculum and deliver SARM training to all project partners; and (5) conduct process and outcome evaluations.

On top of delivering SARM training to partners, The Redwood will present the model at educational conferences and incorporate it into the organization’s online portal to share information on the promising practice with others so that they may replicate it or expand upon it.

This will enable the ArQuives to grow its collection and services and increase their impact throughout Canada.

With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, The ArQuives will implement three interconnected activities: A) an Asset-Based Community Development (ACBD) process, B) governance and leadership strengthening, and C) strategic and resilience planning.

GNO will share information on the promising practice with Women and Gender Equality Canada Gender-based Violence Knowledge Centre so that others may replicate it or expand upon it.

Through this 30-month project, the Mothers Matter Canada will scale their Men Like Me violence campaign with the help of White Ribbon to prevent GBV and strengthen the GBV sector.

Through this 42-month project, Community-Based Research Centre Society will build its capacity to serve 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, organizations, and networks in our collective efforts to advance 2SLGBTQIA+ health and equality. Working alongside 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and partners, CBRC will undertake a comprehensive and collaborative strategic planning process to identify its strategic focus and priorities through 2027. It will develop a recruitment, compensation, and performance management strategy centered on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles to attract and retain diverse, talented, and passionate 2SLGBTQIA+ staff members. Rooted in anti-racist principles, CBRC will work with partners to develop and implement a capacity-building learning module to help organizations work more collaboratively and effectively, maximizing impact.

With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, the Community-Based Research Centre Society (CBRC) will establish the implementation framework of their 5-year strategic plan. In addition, they will build organizational capacity of three key foundational components: Board development, fund diversification, and brand visibility and recognition. Through this, they will further advance Gender Equality.

Through this 30-month project, The Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre will scale the Next Gen Men boy's afterschool programs and community-based groups to the Yukon to strengthen the GBV sector.

This 42-month cost-sharing project aims to increase the economic security and prosperity of women in Canada, particularly among those from equity-deserving groups. The LEAP Pecaut Centre for Social Impact (LEAP) will define, select, and scale innovative, high-impact programs across a cohort of not-for-profit Canadian organizations working to address the systemic barriers to women’s economic well-being. Programs and services will address one or more of the key barriers to women’s economic well-being: basic needs and social supports, education and training, the opportunity cost of caregiving, and workforce opportunity.

Living in Community Society will publish reports and updates via its website and social media regularly to share the promising practice with others so they may replicate it or expand upon it and share information with Women and Gender Equality Canada GBV Knowledge Centre.

To do so, the project will include establishing partnerships in these two community pilot sites, developing and adapting a model based on the DEAP model to address the needs of the diverse populations in Ontario, and implementing the program in these pilot sites. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the promising practice.
