Establishing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) ambassadors for all network, advocating & educating the general population about the importance of promoting equal opportunities, and advancing rural girls' access to STEM in Kosovo through the Mobile STEM Lab "Science on Motion”.

Providing various training courses to support the economic and social empowerment of women who have been internally displaced because of the NOSO crisis.

Canopy-forming kelp forests are globally recognized as one of the most structurally complex foundational ecosystems. They play an important role in maintaining marine food webs, buffering shorelines against erosion, and contributing to carbon and nitrogen cycling. In British Columbia (BC), the current status of kelp forests is unknown due to insufficient research addressing the scales of change and environmental stressors. Loss of this critical habitat will greatly impact valuable marine fisheries and endangered species and the way of life for many First Nations coastal communities.

By employing historical data and remote sensing technologies (optical and SAR) with spatial data analytics, this project aims: (1) to determine the long-term (based on archived data and satellite imagery) spatial distribution patterns of canopy-forming kelp forests and define losses and resilience to environmental and biotic drivers (i.e., sea surface temperature, biological predators); and (2) to define tools for translating knowledge into specific management plans for the benefit of coastal communities and the Province of BC. This project will also train highly qualified personnel (HQPs) with experience and interdisciplinary knowledge in ocean science and remote sensing technology, data analysis, community engagement, and resource management to be innovators that meet the needs of the Canadian space-related and technology sector.

The Technical Assistance Partnership – Government of Canada project helps Federal Judicial Affairs (FJA) Canada to deploy judges and experts specializing in court administration and judicial system management. The project aims to strengthen the capacities of national government entities responsible for judicial systems in countries eligible for official development assistance (ODA). The project also aims to improve the well-being of the poorest, most marginalized, and vulnerable populations by aligning with Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) while contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Project activities include: (1) addressing the differentiated needs of women and men through gender-sensitive policies and services in the justice sector; (2) increasing access to justice for women and girls; (3) strengthening legal systems and the implementation of reforms that eliminate all forms of discrimination against women and girls; (4) supporting the protection of women’s rights defenders; (5) raising Canadians’ awareness of international development issues, including Canada’s SDGs and FIAP, through public engagement activities; and (6) organizing technical visits to Canada.

The project seeks to support around 15 technical assistance initiatives over five years.

The objective of this Project is to deploy renewable wind energy technology to support clean energy for the Nova Scotia electricity grid.

Contributions funding to assist the Manitoba Metis Federation participate in the Commission meeting for the Regulatory Oversight Report for Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Sites: 2022.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Innu Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Strange Lake Rare Earth Mine Project.

Contribution as part of the Policy Dialogue Program Program to Kyle Vermette to assist in preparing for and engaging in participation activities associated with the ongoing Review of Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Development Processes.

Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
