Hire a dedicated Tourism Development Officer to assist with the implementation of economic development initiatives

The two major objectives of this project are to improve the safety of the urban pathway (4.8 km) and to make it more accessible for recreational hikers, of course, and for those who would like to use it to run errands or commute to work. To achieve these two objectives, the path needs to be widened and equipped with proper signage. The path will be widened from 2.4 m (8 ft.) to 3.1 m (10 ft.) along its entire route. As noted earlier, this change is needed to reduce the potential for pedestrian/bicycle collisions and, at the same time, reduce the stress of congestion due to the narrowness of the current pathway. It is important for both cyclists and pedestrians to have their own lane in both directions.

The project seeks to mitigate the risk of failure of the Oliphant Lake Dam during seismic events that would result in flooding downstream. The Project will construct a new dam downstream of the existing dam and will be equipped with a new spillway and instrumentation/monitoring systems to better manage the reservoir levels and outflow volume from the dam. Additionally, the project will significantly reduce economic losses and disruptions in the community that would be created from a washing out of the TransCanada highway due to dam failure.

The proponent will conduct a feasibility study to assess developing a water electrolysis facility allowing the injection of low carbon green hydrogen produced though electrolysis into Gazifère's gas distribution network.

The objective of the project is to convert the North Atlantic Refinery (NARL) to a renewable diesel facility. The facility will hydrotreat renewable, sustainable feedstocks, primarily soy, to produce renewable diesel and jet fuels.
