Kam Lake Academy will undertake a 1-year project to purchase a loader and air brake simulator which will enable the Academy to expand their training offerings with heavy equipment operating (HEO) training and class 1 driver training in Yellowknife.

The purpose of this contribution is to support 835703 Yukon Inc., operating as Yukon Time, in the construction of three eco-cabins on privately owned property near Whitehorse, Yukon, to expand tourism accommodation capacity.

Dänä Näye Ventures is receiving funding to deliver the Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurs (IYE) program. This three-year project supports a three-day workshop held annually each June.

This project aims to help Caribbean countries deliver climate-resilient infrastructure initiatives more quickly and effectively through the establishment of the Caribbean Resilient Infrastructure Implementation and Skills Exchange (RIISE) Facility. The Facility focuses on the implementation phase of infrastructure projects by providing rapid, on-demand advisory support and short-term expert deployments to work alongside government teams. In its initial period, the Facility will provide support to Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Project activities include: (1) establishment of the RIISE facility; (2) curating a roster of experts that prioritizes regional expertise and supports gender responsive and disability inclusive infrastructure development; (3) operating a rapid response helpdesk to troubleshoot procurement, contract management, and design issues that slow implementation; and (4) deploying specialists to work with ministries and project units at critical points during project implementation, while transferring skills to national staff.

By unblocking bottlenecks and building local know-how, the Facility supports more timely, higher quality infrastructure that benefits people across participating countries by improving access to climate-resilient roads, energy, water, housing, and public buildings and by strengthening the capacity of national institutions to deliver major projects.

It transports humanitarian workers, carries light cargo for humanitarian agencies and carries out emergency medical and security evacuations. This project operates in Lebanon.

With the support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC), WFP provides targeted food assistance to vulnerable populations to reduce acute malnutrition and food insecurity and protect livelihoods. Project activities include: (1) distributing food and cash-based transfer; (2) providing supplementary feeding for children under the age of 5 years, as well as pregnant and lactating women; and (3) providing logistical support and enabling access to the most remote and challenging locations.
