A three-stop subway that would connect to Line 2 at Kennedy Station and follow Eglinton Avenue East, Danforth Road and McCowan Avenue to Sheppard Avenue East, with proposed stations at Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough Centre and Sheppard Avenue East. The project is required to improve transit connections between Scarborough and other rapid transit systems, and to replace the current Scarborough RT system, which will reach the end of its useful life in 2023.

A three-stop subway that would connect to Line 2 at Kennedy Station and follow Eglinton Avenue East, Danforth Road and McCowan Avenue to Sheppard Avenue East, with proposed stations at Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough Centre and Sheppard Avenue East. The project is required to improve transit connections between Scarborough and other rapid transit systems, and to replace the current Scarborough RT system, which will reach the end of its useful life in 2023.

The project will provide a rapid transit connection from the western terminus of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) to the Mississauga’s MiWay Bus Rapid Transit service at Renforth Gateway in Mississauga. The project will create a single rapid transit connection from Kennedy Station in Scarborough through to Mississauga and will address the following issues: i) increased coverage, access and network resilience; and ii) community growth and development. The project scope includes new construction of a 9 kilometre, double-track, transit alignment with approximately 7 kilometres of tunnelled sections and the rest of the alignment above-grade and at-grade. The project will result in improved capacity of public transit infrastructure, improved quality and/or safety of existing or future transit systems and access to the public transit system in Toronto, Ontario. The project will also result in increased access to clean energy transportation.

The Yonge North Subway Extension is an 8 kilometre extension of the TTC’s Line 1 from Finch Station in Toronto to the Richmond Hill/Langstaff Gateway Urban Growth Centre at Highway 7 in Richmond Hill. The project is required to relieve crowding and delays on bus services on Yonge Street; improve connections with TTC bus services; and to support growth in North York and York Region.

The Hamilton Light Rail Transit (Hamilton LRT) project is a 14-kilometre light rail transit line running west-east from McMaster University along Main Street West, King Street West, King Street East, Main Street East, and Queenston Road to Eastgate Square. Project delivery mechanism includes a two-package delivery strategy. Scoping of the first package (Package 1) will include underground utility relocation, and construction of bridges, roads, sidewalks, traffic control signals and streetlights, while scoping of the second package (Package 2) will include construction of Stops, Rail and Systems (SRS) plus construction of the Operations & Maintenance and Storage Facility (OMSF).
