Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to Pauquachin First Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the GCT Deltaport Expansion - Berth Four Project.

The Rural Municipality of Brokenhead is seeking to develop an Active Transportation Master Plan to incorporate pathways and greenspaces throughout the Local Urban District (LUD) of Tyndall Garson.

The proposed planning project will investigate the feasibility of a On-Street Bicycle Network through designated bike lanes to connect residential areas to commercial districts, schools and parks.

A comprehensive planning exercise would bring together a multitude of stakeholders with residents and visitors to achieve the best plan to raise awareness of, and influence behaviour, by improving safety, ease, amenities, and confident Wayfinding of this Active Travel route Network.

Canada is funding the Recipient to conduct planning activities for the transition to zero emission buses (ZEBs) in the City of Kingston, Ontario, by addressing planning requirements to enable public transit fleet electrification and implementation.

Project activities include: (1) providing training and technical assistance to build capacity of government institutions; (2) establishing systems necessary for better governance and service delivery, such as a national social registry; (3) serving as a platform for coherent policy dialogue between government and development partners on reform priorities and how to achieve them; (4) collecting and publishing fiscal data to support transparent public financial management; and (5) preparing a policy and legislative framework required to support women’s economic inclusion through the Women’s Economic Enterprise Fund.

Project activities include: (1) providing support for project design, implementation and monitoring; (2) improving climate change vulnerability and biodiversity assessments, baselines, targets and monitoring systems; (3) tracking and reporting on progress, global sharing of lessons learned; (4) monitoring implementation of corrective actions; tracking and reporting on progress of Canada’s NbS and biodiversity portfolio; and (5) capturing and synthesizing tools and lessons from the above activities at a portfolio level and widely sharing and promoting this information to NbS practitioners and other stakeholders.

The multi-donor Technical Assistance Fund aims to maximize the potential of the Government of Tanzania's Health Basket Fund. The Health Basket Fund, which Canada contributes to through its $75 million Strengthening Tanzania's Primary Healthcare System for Women and Girls Project, supports the primary healthcare elements of the Government of Tanzania’s Health Sector Strategic Plan V. The Technical Assistance Fund contributes to building the government’s capacity in four areas critical to the success and sustainability of the Health Basket Fund.

This grant is for video-conferencing equipment to connect clients with the courts and other justice services.

This project will support Hay River Youth Justice Committee in educating justice stakeholders about restorative justice and the benefits of pre-charge diversions with the goal of increasing referrals to their community justice program.
