The project consists of supporting services provided by a justice information hub in Winnipeg for the francophone community of Manitoba.

The organization will provide an advocacy program for victims and survivors of human trafficking to deliver services responsive to their needs with the goal of promoting their physical, psychological and social recovery. The program will connect victims to resources and supports including housing, trauma-informed counselling, employment and education assistance, addiction services and legal supports. As part of this program, the organization will also provide training to Crown attorneys, police, judiciary and community partner agencies, on the unique factors facing these young women and how to best support them through trauma informed practices.

The objective of the Indigenous Courtwork Program is to facilitate and enhance access to justice by assisting Indigenous Persons (adults and youth) charged with an offence under any federal or provincial statute, municipal by-law, or otherwise involved in the justice system to obtain fair, just, equitable and culturally relevant treatment.

These services include information on charges, court procedures, rights and responsibilities, bail, diversion, restorative justice and Indigenous community justice alternatives; support in accessing legal resources as well as appropriate community programming including wellness, trauma, housing, family and employment services; and, facilitating communication among court officials, accused persons, family members and communities to ensure understanding and collaboration

The organization will provide a residential and trauma-informed therapy program for women, including cisgender and transgender women, who are victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. They will also offer an outreach program to reach those who are actively working in the sex trade yet are seeking support and connection and an education program to provide workshops to community service providers, justice workers and the public. Services offered will include cultural support and healing programs, trauma-informed counselling, emotional support, physical and emotional wellness programs, parenting guidance, understanding healthy relationships, employment exploration and skills development and personal empowerment.

The project aims to sustain and increase support services for victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation who have decided to leave their abusive environment. The program will provide trauma-informed activities designed to enhance and promote the physical, psychological and socio-legal well-being of victims and survivors.

The funding will support the operation and expansion of existing Drug Treatment Courts (DTCs) as well as the establishment of new DTCs. This funding will contribute to reduce recidivism rates by supporting eligible offenders in addressing their cycle of problematic substance use and criminal behaviour through the availability of treatment as an alternative to incarceration.

The organization will provide a trauma-informed, holistic care and support program for victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the sex trade. Services will include one-on-one and group supports such as counselling, community navigation, safety planning, group programs that focus on employment readiness, healthy relationships, personal development, mental health supports and financial literacy.
