The organization will provide individualized trauma-informed, holistic case management and counselling services for victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Services offered will include increased social inclusion and access to social supports; increased access to specialized supports to mitigate harms caused by complex trauma and mental health and vulnerability caused by substance use and abuse. The organization will provide supports for increased personal safety through skills development, resources, access to housing and support for individual goals to further education, employment and volunteering. The organization will also provide trauma-informed practice training for community organizations, police and government and justice officials.

The project consists of maintaining operations of a justice information hub in Alberta for the francophone community.

The project consists of supporting services provided by a justice information hub in Winnipeg for the francophone community of Manitoba.

The organization will develop and deliver a complete French and English legal terminology language training program for provincial and territorial judges to help them to increase their capacity to offer justice services in both official languages. The program will consist of two, one-week intensive training sessions supplemented by online activities between the sessions.

Jurisdictional funding agreement for State-Funded Counsel in Yukon.

The funding will facilitate the leveraging of eligible activities and projects designed to improve access to justice in both official languages.

The "R.I.S.E: Re-Integrating the Socially Excluded 2.0" project aims to enhance reintegration and rehabilitative services for youth who identify as Black and racialized. More specifically, this program will provide counselling upon youth being released, harness the ability to connect with local agencies that provide trauma and mental health services, and facilitate holistic case management support that is culturally responsive and helps youth to re-engage with their community.

The “Youth Reintegration Program” is a pilot project that will provide evidence-based case management support to youth in conflict with the law in the Regional Municipality of York. The program will specifically target justice-involved Indigenous, Black, and other racialized youth by providing them with reintegration support to reduce their recidivism. Through community partnerships, the project will help youth establishing positive support systems, increasing social and emotional learning skills, accessing healthcare for physical and mental health needs, addressing food insecurity, acquiring stable housing and employment, and obtaining education.

Through the "BIPOC Youth Crime Prevention Project", the Calgary John Howard Society strives to support the increasing number of black, Indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC) youth that are reintegrating into the community from youth correctional facilities. It will address various risk factors, enhance protective factors for BIPOC youth and include one-on-one case management, development of service plans, translations services, support through legal and disciplinary processes, and community and cultural events. The project will test whether intensive relationship building, system navigation, and a conflict resolution component will increase protective factors and reduce recidivism by BIPOC youth.

Over the next five years, this project will deliver ongoing service delivery to children, youth and families in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia. The organization will ensure the continuation of service and delivery of the multi-disciplinary team response when children and youth have experienced abuse or violence through having adequate staffing levels in place. This project includes development and strengthening of the BC Network of Child and Youth Advocacy Centres.
