The Winnipeg Architecture Foundation Archives Phase 3 project relates to four fonds in the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation (WAF) collection. The main objectives of the project are to increase access, better preserve originals, and inform WAF’s research and public programmes. The fonds all contain materials that document Manitoba’s built heritage. The project closely aligns with the Foundation’s mandate to advance awareness and appreciation of Winnipeg’s built environment.

This collection comprises approximately 31 boxes of records, ledger books, maps, and scrapbooks. The proposed project objective is to review all materials in the 31 boxes to evaluate them for inclusion in the newly created Mush Hole fonds, physically rearrange the records, and write RAD-compliant archival descriptions and finding aids in order to make the fonds accessible and easily usable by researchers.

This project will launch Cold Lake First Nations' (CLFN) Lue Chok Tue Archives Program ("the Program") which centralizes, preserves, and provides access to records and cultural properties, regardless of media or format, that are of enduring value to understanding the history, culture and community of the Denesuline people of Lue Chok Tue.

The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) Archives Access Project application for 2023-24 DHCP focuses on completion of finding aids for records created by departments of CYFN and its predecessor organizations (Yukon Native Brotherhood, Yukon Association of Non-Status Indians, Council for Yukon Indians) from circa 1970 to 2010 including: Finance (170 boxes), Communications (18 boxes), Housing (58 boxes), Self Government Secretariat (85 boxes),; and for CYFN-Yukon Native Language Centre: Linguistic Research records (14 boxes) and @500 maps.

The “Drummondville through the lens of photographer Henri Desaulniers” project has three main objectives, namely processing the archival fonds, digitizing its documents and disseminating part of its content through the development of a digital media library that is accessible on the Société d’histoire de Drummond website.

The project is a colaboration between three incorporated non-profit heritage organizations in Montreal that will increase access to and awareness of the documentary heritage of diverse local Afrodescendant communities to the wider public. The collaboration will also increase the capacity of each organization to keep and preserve their documentary heritage collections, via knowledge-sharing and updated practices developed during the project.

The Cultural Identity Preservation Project aims to compile, categorize, catalogue and display digital and physical artistic works by an artist from Metepenagiag First Nation.

The objective of the project is to bilingually digitally accession and preserve the oldest photographic images held by the Annapolis Heritage Society (AHS) and render them accessible to the public. Deliverables of the project are: the development of a group of skilled volunteers; the digitization of photo collections from the 19th century; and wide public access to the images. Key activities include: training of volunteers; digitization of the images; labelling, bilingual description and rehousing of images in need; and uploading digital images to a provincial database along with related textual information. The project will be promoted through an in person and virtual museum exhibit displaying restored digital prints of a selection of images and providing education on the digital preservation and restoration process.

The "Historic Pinnguaq Lifecycle Collection" is a project designed to highlight success stories in S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) from Rural, Remote and Indigenous Communities served by the Pinnguaq Association.

The project seeks to procure funding to continue running the AABC's successful and well attended workshop: Archives 101: Archival Practice for Indigenous Organizations. The project will involve two online offerings of Archives 101 at a low registration fee which gives attendees an overview of creating and managing successful archival programs in their communities or organizations.
