About this information
In June 2016, as part of the Open Government Action Plan, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) committed to increasing the transparency and usefulness of grants and contribution data and subsequently launched the Guidelines on the Reporting of Grants and Contributions Awards, effective April 1, 2018.
The rules and principles governing government grants and contributions are outlined in the Treasury Board Policy on Transfer Payments. Transfer payments are transfers of money, goods, services or assets made from an appropriation to individuals, organizations or other levels of government, without the federal government directly receiving goods or services in return, but which may require the recipient to provide a report or other information subsequent to receiving payment. These expenditures are reported in the Public Accounts of Canada. The major types of transfer payments are grants, contributions and \'other transfer payments\'.
Included in this category, but not to be reported under proactive disclosure of awards, are (1) transfers to other levels of government such as Equalization payments as well as Canada Health and Social Transfer payments. (2) Grants and contributions reallocated or otherwise redistributed by the recipient to third parties; and (3) information that would normally be withheld under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.

Concurrently, the project will have objectives in science and technology, collaborative work and STEM promotion, such as: •Continue to provide space oriented high-level skills trainings and form future space industry professionals •Continue to contribute to space-related sciences and technological developments. •Continue to contribute into climate change studies.
Space Concordia aims to have an impact on the development of space technologies by improving the overall performance and robustness of space integrated artificial intelligence models on CubeSats, which would create a space perturbation model to help test and validate the robustness in questions.

In line with Canada’s 10-year Commitment to Global Health and Rights (2021-2030), which includes $700 million per year to scale up investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), this project will support SheDecides as a global advocacy platform to communicate, inform and expand rights based comprehensive SRHR priorities and approaches. By engaging and working with global leaders, including youth, this project aims to mobilize political and financial support to increase access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in developing countries, with a specific focus on supporting the bodily autonomy of women and girls.

P011285001: The BlueOrchard Latin America and Caribbean Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion Fund aims to increase the financial resilience of women, indigenous populations and people of African descent, as well as to support their material well-being and the growth of their businesses.
To accomplish this, the Fund provides commercial loans to between 25 and 30 financial or microfinance institutions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
P011285002: The BlueOrchard Latin America and Caribbean Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion Fund aims to increase the financial resilience of women, indigenous populations and people of African descent, as well as to support their material well-being and the growth of their businesses.
The technical support mechanism supports client financial institutions of the fund in developing new financial inclusion solutions for women and in developing strategies to communicate with and effectively promote women clients. It also supports the development of diversity and inclusion policies within the human resources of the fund’s financial institution clients. Technical assistance supports the development or improvement of monitoring and reporting tools on gender, diversity, and inclusion; and helps financial institutions develop training on gender and inclusion for their employees.
