The objective of this Project is to raise the profile of women who are at the forefront of energy innovation in Canada, and to draw attention to the strategies that companies, governments, and individuals can use to make gender equality an essential part of Canada's energy future. This aligns with NRCan's mandate to identify opportunities to support workers and businesses in the natural resource sectors, and to advance gender equality and diversity in the clean energy sector.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 22 electric vehicle chargers in British Columbia.

Fisheries and Oceans is responsible for assisting marine mammals and sea turtles in distress. The objective of the SSLP is to help all learners improve their educational outcomes throughout their life so that they can get the skills they need to succeed in the labour market by supporting learners, providing supports and building approaches that address issues related to learning and skills.

The objective of the Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program is to help employers and workers by supporting key sectors of the economy develop and implement solutions to address their immediate, emerging and longer-term workforce needs and challenges. Organizations will be encouraged to develop partnerships with industry stakeholders, employers and workers to ensure their project outputs meet the needs of the sector. The SWSP will support a range of workforce development activities, including: sector-specific training and reskilling initiatives; workforce solutions for employers; other creative solutions, standards and tools; and initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Alliance grants encourage university researchers to collaborate with partner organizations, which can be from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors. These grants support research projects led by strong, complementary, collaborative teams that will generate new knowledge and accelerate the application of research results to create benefits for Canada.
