The project includes 250 kW of solar PV, a 250 kW/535 kWh battery energy storage system, and two 400 kW diesel generators integrated with an air-to-water heat pump - the first of its kind in Nunavut. Together, the system will supply 100% of the hotel’s electrical and thermal load while reducing diesel use.

Millard Towers (MTL) current tower design has limitations in height as it isn't scalable. MTL has a need for a taller, modular design that can support more equipment and lower via an accessible hinge.

The Firm has developed ΔC, a biochar-based carbon-negative concrete admixture made from sustainably sourced wood residues that reduces cement use and permanently stores biogenic carbon, lowering concrete’s carbon footprint by 20–30% without changing plant operations.

This project advances ΔC development and manufacturing from pilot validation to commercial readiness by: 1) optimizing production, 2) completing engineering and techno-economic analysis, 3) validating industrial performance, and 4) preparing inputs for Final Investment Decision (FID).
