As part of the Germany BMBF project “AI-H2O-REAC” led by Carleton University (Canada) and RWTH Aachen University (Germany), the overall goal of the joint research project is the development of a novel continuous reactor for scalable cogeneration of hydrogen, heat, and valuable alumina powder based on the hydrolysis of recycled aluminum that exploits the high enthalpy of this reaction.

The firm's Hurricane Connector is one of the main components of the building system. The confirmed and expected conclusion reached is that the production of each of these components by hand will be cost prohibitive, so the chosen strategy for mass manufacturing is to use a Diecast Stamp to achieve the objective of ensuring a cost-effective means of mass production. The firm will also include the design of a modular building support system. The main pragmatic objective of the modular building support system is to prevent damage to and protect the supported modular building, during flooding and in flood surges. The support system will be modular in functionality.

The Project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the Firm.

This project aims to develop a new excitation path for the firm’s SPARQ module.

This project will enable Alberta Innovates to administer a program for the benefit of IRAP clients. Alberta Innovates will receive referrals from ITAs, and the organization will match the IRAP client to an IP professional to provide guidance to the client to delevop an IP strategy that aligns with the Firm's business strategy, or to a market research professional to develop a market intelligence report that will inform both the IP and business strategies.

The project will examine alternative justice mechanisms in relation to sexual violence, including restorative justice measures and community-based mechanisms which have historically been led largely by Indigenous, Black, racialized, queer sex worker and kink communities. LEAF will ensure in its outreach to participants that viewpoints from these communities are considered. LEAF will identify experts that represent the experiences of diverse populations with alternative justice to sustain the Advisory Committee.

The Project involves the development of innovative technologies which will significantly enhance air domain awareness (ADA) decision support in Accipiter’s existing surveillance products and services. ADA involves providing users with situational awareness and understanding of targets and phenomenology in their airspace. Targets include drones, general aviation aircraft and birds, and phenomenology includes weather, as well as other noise/clutter sources that require suppression to avoid confusing operators and causing decision support errors.

This project will investigate user needs for new portable stimulation devices to support nerve surgeons in performing repair procedures.

The proposed project entails the development of advanced tools and infrastructure to enable a containerized test facility encompassing a state-of-the-art battery cycling laboratory capable of performing segregated testing.

Rapid Novor is expanding beyond its antibody sequencing work and offering new services for in-depth antibody characterization through HDX epitope mapping and SPR kinetic analysis. The client knows how clients interact with its sequencing services and need to learn how to conduct value-added marketing and sales to commercialize its new antibody characterization services. The client will learn and implement new upselling and cross-selling marketing and sales strategies to increase market awareness and sales opportunities for its new SPR and HDX services.
