AIM Robotics is advancing RPAS WILCO, a cloud-based drone operations and compliance platform used by public safety agencies and airports across Canada. This project supports the engagement of a youth candidate in an Operations role to assist with platform deployment, customer onboarding, and process optimization. The role will contribute to scaling service delivery, improving operational workflows, and supporting expansion of drone-based solutions in regulated environments. The project provides hands-on experience in a high-growth technology company while contributing to innovation in aviation safety and drone operations.

Funding will support research and development to identify solutions to National Defence’s Challenge: Speed meets strategy: Building Canada’s hypersonic innovation network. The Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) in collaboration with Canada’s academic and defence & security communities are seeking to stimulate the application of hypersonic technologies, including propulsion, flight dynamics, detection, and materials, in the defence and security domain to understand these weapons. The outcomes of this Challenge concentrate on areas that align with immediate priorities in Canada’s NORAD Modernization Plan that develop expertise and advance DND/CAF understanding of hypersonic technologies in aerodynamics, propulsion, structures and materials, and flight control.

The Project is a national initiative delivered across eight components over six fiscal years as part of a broader effort implemented by the Inter-Council Network (ICN), a coalition of eight provincial and regional councils for international cooperation. As one component of this larger initiative, the Project strengthens public engagement on global issues and supports the contribution of people across Canada to international cooperation efforts.

The Project supports people in Saskatchewan in deepening their awareness of global issues and Canada’s international development assistance through coordinated outreach, capacity-building, and youth engagement.

As eyetracking becomes increasingly embedded within such gaming environments, this project will exame privacy concerns regarding the sharing of eye movement data.

The population that uses this facility will feel safer from hate motivated incidents/crimes following the purchase and installation of steel chain link fencing and three galvanized gates.
