Integration of Micro CHP and the control system into existing battery based off-grid inverter systems as well as integration with other hydronic heating sources and their controls.

Additional features would include temperature sensing technology and both a battery or AC/DC power supply.

The IRAP funding project will assist DSE Greentech to complete the file for the intellectual property concerning an advanced module level power electronics for grid-tied and off grid PV plus DC coupled battery storage systems. The project includes all activities to validate the novel power conversion design, required documents for IP filing and lawyer engagements.

Significant technical risk remains as the new battery technology is the first of its kind worldwide and utilizes novel construction and assembly techniques that still need to be proven.

The Project will contribute to advancing BC Transit’s Low Carbon Fleet Program which was structured to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet Clean BC reduction targets by integrating battery electric buses into its fleet. The transition to zero emission buses at these locations is in alignment with the Recipient’s fleet replacement and expansion program.

This project will increase RTFT's production of critical minerals that will go into products like electric vehicles and batteries. Their BlueSmelting initiative, a new technology for carbon-neutral ilmenite extraction, could generate 95% less GHG emission than their current process enabling the production of high-grade titanium dioxide feedstock, steel, and metal powders with a drastically reduced carbon footprint.

To enhance the security and operational efficiency of wearable medical devices by integrating End-to-End cryptographic techniques, AI-driven real-time monitoring within resource constraints, ensuring broad compatibility across diverse embedded systems, balancing energy efficiency with security enhancements, achieving regulatory compliance, and demonstrating the action-response mechanism, all without compromising device performance or battery life.

This project covers the custom design of Drinkable’s V1 which is comprised of a custom PCB with Bluetooth capabilities, a display, a battery, and a connector to translate the voltage changes from the sensor board to the PCB.

It will assess potential regional partners for efficient deployment of vanadium flow battery systems and explore opportunities for collaboration with government stakeholders to advance non-lithium energy storage technologies.
