All services will be provided in English and available both virtually and in-person to ensure accessibility for CAF members, veterans, and other members of the Defence community.

This project aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of French-language support services for victims of sexual violence within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the Department of National Defence (DND), particularly in rural regions of Quebec. Le CALACS du Saguenay will provide individual and group support, awareness activities, and referrals to appropriate resources, all adapted to the culture and language of the beneficiaries. The initiative seeks to address current service gaps and promote equitable access to trauma-informed, survivor-centred services.

This project aims to expand trauma-informed support for military survivors of sexual misconduct and their networks. The CRCVC extends service hours and improves access, particularly outside traditional business hours. The initiative includes the development of tailored, user-friendly resource guides to enhance navigation of available supports; a national outreach and awareness campaign; delivery of CAF-specific training; and strengthened referral pathways through collaboration with community-based organizations and the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC). Services are offered across Canada in both English and French through a hybrid model of in-person and virtual delivery.

This project provides outreach and education through a series of survivor-centered, trauma-informed workshops delivered in collaboration with the Survivor Perspectives Consulting Group (SPCG). Led by Wounded Warriors Canada, the training addresses sexual misconduct within the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), featuring firsthand accounts from survivors of military sexual trauma (MST).

The overarching goal (purpose) is to support enhancements in marine safety and marine environmental protection in Canadian waters, while embracing the concepts of codevelopment and sustainable economic development. The objectives are to enhance the capacity and facilitate the participation of partners and stakeholders in support of marine safety and marine environmental protection.

Not a Project (Mandated or Core Funding)

Provide financial assistance to an individual Canadian victim of a specified serious violent crime in a foreign jurisdiction for emergency situations of undue hardship where no other source of financial assistance is available (specified categories of crimes are homicide, sexual assault, aggravated assault or assault with serious personal violence, or threat of serious violence, including against a child) or to an individual support person to accompany, attend with or support a Canadian victimized in a foreign jurisdiction. A total of 10 individuals were approved to receive financial assistance in this regard.

Provide financial assistance to an individual victim or support person (as defined in the Corrections and Conditional Release Act and who are registered with Correctional Service Canada or the Parole Board of Canada), to attend Parole Board of Canada hearings in respect of the offender who harmed them. A total of 34 individuals were approved to receive financial assistance in this regard.

The objectives of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy Program (YESSP) are to help all youth navigate through the labour market and to successfully transition into sustained employment. These objectives are attained by supporting the needs of all youth, especially youth facing barriers to develop skills, knowledge and networks through education, skills development and meaningful work experiences.
