To provide support for safe, healthy, productive waters and aquatic ecosystems for the benefit of present and future generations.

This project aims to strengthen the operational effectiveness of civil society actors and support them to effectively engage in collaborative dialogue with local communities, sectoral peers, donors, as well as local decision-makers and policy implementers.

The project aims to increase women’s and girls’ bodily autonomy by expanding access to information and services related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, and to safe abortion care. Ipas DRC will work with government and community partners in the provinces of Nord-Kivu, Sud-Kivu, Haut Katanga, Tanganyika and Kinshasa to translate the enabling legal and policy framework into improved access to quality abortion care.
The project aims to improve women’s ability to make safe reproductive choices that support their educational and career goals, which makes a significant contribution to greater gender equality in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This project’s vision is that a multi-sectoral group of stakeholders, including organizations working on broader socio-political issues, make sexual and reproductive health rights and safe abortion care a gender justice priority.
Project activities include: (1) training and supporting over 200 public- and private-sector health care providers (clinics, integrated health centres, etc.) to provide comprehensive abortion care; (2) supporting 85 health care facilities to offer sexual and reproductive health care, including contraception, abortion, post-abortion care and support in response to gender-based sexual violence; (3) training and supporting 40 community organizations in terms of sexual and reproductive health care; and (4) strengthening the system that refers people to appropriate facilities for abortion and sexual and gender-based violence support, and improving community dialogue on women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive rights and on safe abortion among 24,000 people.
The project’s main beneficiaries are women and girls in the provinces of Nord-Kivu, Sud-Kivu, Haut-Katanga, Tanganyika and Kinshasa.

The Fund aims to improve the environment and well-being of vulnerable populations, especially women in emerging markets. Project activities include mobilizing private sector capital to finance impactful clean energy companies, commercial and industrial solar projects, agri-businesses, and smallholder farmers.

The Fund finances over 100 projects to benefit 10 million people, including 50% women, while also demonstrating the potential to mobilize capital at scale to help drive the sector toward long-term sustainable financing.

This project aims to increase the effectiveness of United Nations (UN) peace operations by improving the UN’s ability to implement the UN’s peacekeeping commitments, including Women, Peace and Security agenda, and by enhancing UN peacekeeping missions’ ability to implement their mandates in a gender-responsive manner. This project supports the UN Department of Peace Operations and the Department of Management Strategy, Police and Compliance. Project activities include: (1) supporting civilian and child protection work at UN headquarters and in field missions; (2) promoting Women, Peace and Security (WPS); (3) addressing issues of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse; and (4) facilitating peacekeeping intelligence through integrated analysis.

The project supports rural and Indigenous women and youth in ecologically sensitive coastal and island regions in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal and Togo to adapt to climate change. The project aims to improve agro-ecological practices and ecosystem rehabilitation, as well as the economic power of women and youth through appropriate technologies and local marketing. The project supports youth participation to ensure the sustainability of learning and good practices, while strengthening their role in promoting gender equality, climate action and biodiversity protection.

Project activities include: (1) training to improve knowledge on climate policies and biodiversity; (2) technical and financial support to strengthen climate-resilient agroecological practices (micro-livestock, agroforestry, market gardening, beekeeping and oyster farming) and the provision of solar and energy-efficient equipment.
