This project will find out whether providing a treatment with artificial gravity (using a human centrifuge) combined with either cycling while in bed or exercising while the whole body is being vibrated can help stop an Achilles injury after bedrest.

CARAT is a space-based instrument that will fly in low-Earth orbit on a CubeSat and act as a known reference source for Canadian and other ground-based radio telescopes. This “artificial radio star” can be observed, tracked, and used to calibrate their receivers to greatly improve their accuracy.

The project aims to develop advanced high strength materials in the form of nanostructured and high-entropy alloys, with enhanced mechanical properties, to improve the resistance to damage from high velocity ballistics and shrapnel projectiles by developing functionally-graded (FG) materials and structures which will replace the heavy ceramic-metal polymer layers in current armour. Artificial neural network learning will be used to study the influence material sequence in FG structures with different geometries that will be designed for enhanced energy absorption and resistance to damage under various forms of ballistic loading conditions.

Technologies directly addressing low-GHG transport can reduce GHG to zero over time; however, this will require cities to proactively develop smart transit options and widespread public adoption strategies.SmartCone’s “Intelligent Corridor” program removes barriers to smart transit adoption, protecting vulnerable road users through “smart” crosswalks and bike lanes and monitoring car traffic / emissions in real time. SmartCone’s AI-enabled intelligent infrastructure system brings interconnectivity, high-level analytics, data collection, monitoring and alerting together to increase safety and ease of use for alternative transportation. 

Project activities include: (1) supporting civilian and child protection work at UN headquarters and in field missions; (2) promoting Women, Peace and Security (WPS); (3) addressing issues of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse; and (4) facilitating peacekeeping intelligence through integrated analysis.

Leveraging advancements in generative AI, our project seeks to take a novel approach to machine translation by mimicking the human process of translation and accuracy validation through intelligent Gen AI-based agents.

This involves developing 3D models from existing *E57 files and generating intelligent 3D models in the *ddd format compatible with IDS, our existing platform.

Materia is looking to solve that, in part, through a dynamic two-sided marketplace that can intelligently connect product developers from consumer brands to the right suppliers and manufacturers to bring their product to life using sustainable materials.

Reducing fatalities, serious injury, property damage and congestion due to
crash level events are the objective of dTIMS Safety Intelligence.
When paired with dTIMS Business Analytics, the Life Cycle Cost Analysis could now consider treatments that would increase road network safety.
