The immediate technical objective of the project would be to perform the R&D and product development for the next generation ESM product. Although leveraging existing capability, the R&D envisioned involves pushing existing limits and expanding the status of existing technology.

Early identification of cognitive decline allows for earlier intervention with appropriate care so that entry to long term care can be delayed. This project explores two non-invasive assessments (eye-tracking and speech patterns) that have potential for cognitive assessment. Specifically, the project will design a system to capture voice and eye-gaze data during tasks, with the goal of detecting speech and oculomotor abnormalities associated with cognitive decline. It will combine the two modalities and leverage multimodal analysis techniques to generate more sensitive predictions. The project will analyze combinations of tasks to achieve the assessment. The project will collect longitudinal data, to allow intra-subject analysis in addition to cross-sectional analysis to validate the performance of the system. The project will lead to a more cost-effective approach for assessment that could be done at home or remotely and that is an alternative to more expensive or invasive diagnostic testing currently being done.

Create an infrastructure for analyzing data using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Integrate the AI / ML findings into our existing products. Enhance our platform with Automated Accounts Payables, and Vendor Buying Agreements. Enhance our back-end architecture to allow us to provide functionality to a wider audience of users.

This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work.

Creation of a visual laboratory on Indigenous Legal Orders. The objective of this project is to showcase Indigenous justice and law systems through knowledge-based audio-visual content to increase knowledge, awarenessand understanding of the recognition of Indigenous law and legal traditions and to encourage informed dialogue among justice system stakeholders in this regard. Additional activities include the development of educational and legal information resources based on the traditional knowledge of Quebec's Indigenous communities while actively engaging learners enrolled in the Certificate by offering an experiencial approach.

The objective of paying the annual assessed contribution is to enable Canada to meet its financial obligations to the organization as well as fulfilling Canada's international policy objectives by participating in the work of the organization.

Provide financial assistance to an individual Canadian victim of a specified serious violent crime in a foreign jurisdiction for emergency situations of undue hardship where no other source of financial assistance is available (specified categories of crimes are homicide, sexual assault, aggravated assault or assault with serious personal violence, or threat of serious violence, including against a child) or to an individual support person to accompany, attend with or support a Canadian victimized in a foreign jurisdiction. A total of 13 individuals received financial assistance in this regard.

Provide financial assistance to an individual victim or support person (as defined in the Corrections and Conditional Release Act and who are registered with Correctional Service Canada or the Parole Board of Canada), to attend Parole Board of Canada hearings in respect of the offender who harmed them. A total of 1 individual received financial assistance in this regard.

Front-end and back-end technical support of the My Wine Canada technology platform, optimization of B2C order processes between vendors and the technology platform, and market research.

Develop a proof-of-concept software and associated set of services, allowing an interactive layer to exist on top of a web browsing experience bringing distributed peer-to-peer and broadcast communication capability, unrestricted by the underlying website's technology.
