Through this project, Fort Nelson First Nation (FNFN) is seeking funding to build capacity for the Restorative Justice and Peacekeeping programs within the community. This project would support the Nation to engage staff to train community members and other FNFN staff as facilitators and/or coordinators at FNFN. In addition, it will promote self-governance and the expansion of existing services such as peacemaking/sentencing circles, healing circles, etc.

Through this project, Four Circles Justice Society will develop resources to increase awareness of program and activities, host a two-day conference, a cross-cultural training session, and follow-up workshops to build relationships and develop partnerships between their Indigenous justice Program, communities and justice stakeholders. These sessions will help to develop best practices, and new and innovative models for implementation.

Through this project, Gitxsan-Wet’suwet’en Unlocking Aboriginal Justice (GWUAJ) will deliver professional development and relationship building activities to board members, hereditary Chiefs, managers and frontline staff.

Through this project, Community Justice Outreach Workers and Community Justice Specialists will attend a workshop exploring strategies, skill sets, and other applications for the appropriate work setting that encourage self-reflection, self-reliance, and self-management.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disorder that affects 384 million people worldwide and is responsible for over 3 million deaths/year, making it the third leading cause of mortality. COPD is also the top 1 reason for hospitalization in Canada. Alveolar Macrophages (AMs) are the most abundant immune cells in the human airways. Although AM is well known for its critical role in fighting pathogens and maintaining lung homeostasis, it is unclear how these cells change in COPD states. Precisely deconvolute the AM compositions and associating them to COPD clinical outcomes will provide a great opportunity to better understand COPD. The primary objective of this study is to develop digital technologies to discover AM biomarkers for novel COPD therapy by integrating both bulk and single cell omics data. This study will demonstrate the translational capabilities of single-cell ‘omics technologies and provide biomarker candidates for immunotherapy of COPD.

The purpose of this project is to create an in-game overlay layer built out to support in-game applications in which a selected amount of games will be supported. By supporting these games and being whitelisted by anti-cheat services the firm will be able to display more gaming data and stats about a user, their match, or their game in general because the firm will not be limited by any other party’s solutions. Upon completion of this project the firm will have created a proprietary in game overlay solution that supports a game that can be released to an App store allowing other businesses and developers to create and develop applications for some of the gaming solutions supported by Enthusiast Gaming.

The Inuvialuit Traditional Knowledge Inventory Development (ITK ID) project aims to establish an ITK inventory and online repository by identifying all the ITK archival materials in possession of the Joint Secretariat and its partners, and by organizing the data within a formal inventory model best suited for inventory development knowledge archival materials.

Scale up laboratory and production operations to support business needs, while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and manufacturing standards.

The purpose of this CanExport SMEs agreement is to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for activities related to export market development that are part of an export business case for a specific target market, particularly where activities are targeting departmental priority markets and sectors.
