Acumen is seeking a new graduate to support the development of an advanced LMS platform and other AI-driven software applications, including Patch Management and CVA automation tools, to provide specialized cybersecurity and compliance training for graduates and new hires. The platform and applications will serve utilities, critical infrastructure, hospitals, educational institutions, and corporate IT environments. This initiative strengthens Canada’s workforce readiness, enhances operational security, and advances digital resilience across key sectors.

Seasonal and pandemic influenza continue to pose substantial threats to public health and highly pathogenic strains such as H5N1 carry the potential for devastating outbreaks. The Firm proposes to develop a novel long-acting pre-exposure prophylaxis platform to deliver DNA-encoded broadly neutralizing antibodies directly to the upper and lower respiratory tracts. This approach aims to provide durable, broad-spectrum protection against influenza infection including emerging avian strains through a single inhaled or intranasal administration.

The project aims to develop advanced technology for measuring and testing drone propulsion, capable of capturing forces and moments across six axes.

This project aims to expand access to objective movement screening, assessments, and monitoring through advanced analytics for common postures & movements like posture, squat and gait through a mobile-first approach, focusing on underserved populations. The outcomes will be a bilingual motion-analysis platform that works with any camera, enabling use cases for health & performance optimization as well as identifying movement abnormalities to deliver reliable capture, inclusive user experience, and simple deployment to provide more equitable assessments at scale.

The youth will support Ostia’s translational research and clinical development programs for S. salivarius SALI-10®, a next-generation oral probiotic producing novel phosphorylated lantibiotics. This work will contribute to a key clinical trial evaluating SALI-10’s ability to reduce gingivitis and prevent dysbiosis in otherwise healthy individuals. This work also underpins Ostia’s regulatory filings with Health Canada (NHP, Class III NPN) and the US FDA GRAS pathway, advancing the company’s commercialization strategy.

Breton is developing AI automation for Fundraiz, a secure online fundraising platform for charities, schools, and non-profits. The project focuses on using artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate client onboarding and lottery setup workflows.

This Market Diversification Action Plan (MDAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international work in Australia.

Development of an AI-powered, hardware-agnostic platform for multi-step defect detection in additive manufacturing, featuring a core application for comparing CAD models with live production scans to create digital twins for adaptive Quality Analysis. Contributions from International partners include predictive ML models and synthetic defect datasets. Industrial validation will occur through pilots with international partners.

This project is to produce a robust and sustained release ingestible system for pain relief.

The project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the firm.
