Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities.

This project enables funding under the global Displacement Tracking Matrix support team to advance International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Internal Displacement Data Strategy strategic priorities, particularly in relation to Pillar 1 assistance and protection data, 3 data coordination and 4 use and accountability.

With support from GAC and other donors, Geneva Call is working on influencing behavioural change among ANSAs to promote the protection of civilians, including respect for and compliance with international humanitarian law (IHL), humanitarian principles and human rights. Funding under this project ($1.5M - 2022-2024), will support GC’s activities to strengthen engagement with ANSAs on the protection of healthcare, including improved access and the prevention of attacks and violence in conflict affected areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Mali. Project activities include: (1) training ANSAs on foundational humanitarian norms and principles including human rights and IHL rules on the protection of medical personnel and facilities; (2) producing and installing information panels, emblems, and signposts to enhance the visibility of medical missions in conflict zones; (3) strengthening the operational capacity of health workers and structures in conflict zones through the provision of basic medical equipment such as stretchers, first aid kits, medical coats and lit vests; (4) community engagement campaigns to enhance awareness of IHL and strengthen the capacity of community stakeholders to collect data and report on IHL violations, attacks, and violence on healthcare; and (5) supporting global outreach advocacy in diplomatic and humanitarian hubs through public events to raise awareness and share findings, trends and recommendations to address protection of healthcare challenges in armed conflict settings.

Strengthening the capacity of households working with livestock and in agro-pastoral settings to cope with the effects of climate change in Cabo Verde, through the improvement of water management strategies, and the strengthening of the livelihoods and means of production of these populations.

Documentation of the roles and leaderships of indigenous women in the practice of indigenous natural resource management in the Philippines

Democratizing local governance through the involvement of civil society of Kazakhstan in development and promotion of recommendations.

Drafting and promoting anti-discrimination legislation in Kazakhstan through the establishment of, and participation in, a Working Group involving civil society and authorized state agencies

Raising awareness of the Kazakhstani audience on the significance of gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in Kazakhstan.

Promoting the anti-discrimination agenda in Kazakhstan through advocacy campaign and training of journalists, blogger, human rights defenders and lawyers.

Developing the potential of young women activists in Kazakhstan through the organization of a Women's Youth Forum «Wings», including networking, educational workshops and a public art action.
