This project aims to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care for marginalized and vulnerable people, particularly adolescent girls and young women between the ages of 10 and 24, in Benin, Burkina Faso, and Haiti. Project activities include: (1) providing training to teachers and educators on comprehensive sexual education; (2) providing training to health care providers on high-quality, gender-sensitive and adolescent-friendly sexual and reproductive health services, particularly for adolescent girls and young women; (3) organizing awareness-raising campaigns targeted at parents and community members on improving their general knowledge about the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescent girls and young women, to dispel stigma, and to encourage productive communication around sexual and reproductive topics; (4) working with youth and women’s rights groups to advocate for better SRHR policies in all three countries; and (5) leading an educational campaign across Canada, particularly targeting young Canadians, to raise awareness around SRHR and sexual and gender-based violence. The project expects to benefit 850,000 people across all three countries. Doctors of the World is implementing this project in partnership with Lawyers without Borders Canada, and several local partners, including women’s groups and government agencies across all three countries.

Contributing to the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts during the cattle movement period in Benin's Zogbodomey, Zagnanado and Covè communes through training and awareness workshops for famers and herders.

Improve access to pertinent health services for trans women living in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, free of stigmatization and discrimination

The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;
develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action.

The objectives of the Labour Funding Program are to:
• promote respect for fundamental labour rights and international obligations through capacity building of labour administrations and exchange of good practice in the areas of labour relations and working conditions;
• develop and transfer knowledge on effective approaches to address the labour dimensions of globalization in Canada and internationally;
• strengthen relationships that foster collaboration, partnership, alliances and networks to address labour issues;
• support the capacity of governments, labour and management, and employers and employees to identify and address labour issues; and,
• promote knowledge sharing through the development, exchange and application of knowledge, tools and resources that address labour issues and/or sustain or enhance labour practices and labour relations.

Security and user authorization software engineering for feature management. This hire will be focused around providing software and security engineering work for the DevCycle platform.

Establishing a user-centric learning experience through our cyber security educational content, with the goal of creating cyber security awareness.

The female graduate will liaise with accounting, HSEQ, communications, and the firm’s internal software development team to digitalize records, form a database to query and run reports, and transition this currently manual task from Excel to a form-based share-point tool.
