The objectives of the Program are to; support the development and utilization of effective approaches to address social issues and challenges;.develop, exchange and apply knowledge, tools and resources that address social needs of individuals, families and communities; foster partnerships and networks to address existing and emerging social issues; recognize and support the ability of not-for-profit organizations to identify and address social development priorities; and, recognize and promote community engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, innovation, partnerships, coalitions) that mobilize community assets and develop capacities and resources for action..

Support to the recipient to address capacity-building needs.

As a continuation of a previous project, the next phase of Honouring our Ancestor's Gifts (HOAG2) will focus on digitizing 2 000 photos and 1 000 slides cared for by the Manitoba Indigenous Cultural Education Centre (MICEC). The collection documents the history of Indigenous advocacy and cultural revitalization in Manitoba from those who came before us. HOAG2 will resurrect the voices and knowledges of Elders, Ancestors and our teachers who have been working for generations to preserve and protect our ways of knowing and being.

Replace decaying arena roof structure and install energy saving systems and increase facility accessibility.

Retrofit recreation facility to reduce energy use and emissions and to heat facility independent of PSPC’s heating loop and utility system.

Kylie will be focused on Designing Graphics for our current clients as well as updating, streamlining, and maintaining our Social Media & external Marketing program. She will focus providing print ready files for our clients, engaging with new Social Media followers, and attracting new Nexus Decor clients. We have also begun a new product line of Tradeshow SWAG items, which Kylie will work to promote on all of our platforms.

The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.
