Support and protection of the rights of women/girls who are IDPs through seminars and consultations on psycho-legal and medical-social assistance and technical strengthening of NGOs

Between 1990 and 2000, the Inuvialuit Social Development Program conducted three major oral history projects about Inuvialuit use and traditional knowledge of the Yukon North Slope (including Herschel Island), and Banks Island in the Northwest Territories. Elders were transported back by boat and helicopter to their former camps to be interviewed. The projects resulted in 223 audio recordings, which were transcribed in Inuvialuktun and translated into English—an essential effort since few Inuvialuit were fluent in Inuvialuktun. While half of those recordings are accessible on the Inuvialuit Digital Library website, the other half are missing, along with the video Ikaahuk (produced in Inuvialuktun with English subtitles).

The Inuvialuktun transcriptions, English translations of all tapes, and indexes of the English translations are not available on the website due to problems converting files from the 1994 Word program. Once their layout is finalized and the missing Inuvialuktun letters are added to each page, the documents will be converted into PDF format. These digitized versions will then be uploaded to the Inuvialuit Digital Library website. The same will be done with the digitized tapes and video so that all the material from the 1990s Inuvialuit oral history projects is available online.

The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.

The objective of the IRP is to improve the ability of (SPO)s to participate in the social finance market (i.e. secure a repayable investment), as well as to engage in procurement and outcomes-based funding opportunities by:.• Enabling SPOs to gain a variety of skills and competencies along the investment readiness continuum;.• Supporting the readiness of established expert services providers to provide nation-wide capacity-building services to SPOs in one or more key area along the investment readiness continuum; and.• Supporting the advancement of Canada’s SI/SF ecosystems by responding to identified system-level gaps (e.g. building the capacities of social finance intermediaries, advancing impact measurement, and supporting SI/SF awareness and knowledge mobilization)..

Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage

the project will provide massive financial assistance in the form of a one-time payment to eligible people in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador (the most affected regions in terms of damage and needs) that were affected by Hurricane Fiona. It will contribute to people's ability to manage the impacts of the event by providing one-time financial assistance of $500 to eligible households in the most affected areas who have registered with the Canadian Red Cross and self-identify as unable to meet their basic needs – including, but not limited to, food, shelter, transportation, and cleaning supplies – as a result of the hurricane-force post-tropical storm.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 126 electric vehicle chargers in Ontario and Alberta
