Thee Idea to Innovation (I2I) Grants aims to accelerate the pre-competitive development of promising technology originating from the university and college sector and promote its transfer to a new or established Canadian company. This project is to improve energy efficiency in Canada's residential, commercial, and institutional building sector.

This project aims to hold a three-day “South American Conference on the United Nations Secretary General’s Mechanism for Investigation of Alleged Use of Chemical and Biological Weapons (UNSGM),” with the goal of increasing regional contributions to the UNSGM. The conference would be held in fall 2025 in Santiago, Chile. The conference will convene foreign policy officials, National Authorities of the CWC and BTWC and chem/bio security and non-proliferation experts from around Latin America, as well as organizations that assist in chemical and biological security capacity building such as UNODA, UNLIREC and CICTE/OAS. Of note, South America is the region which least contributes to the UNSGM but it has a significant pool of experts, consultants, and laboratories to support it. As such, by bringing together authorities and experts in biological and chemical security from around the region to discuss the UNSGM will ensure that stakeholders gain a better understanding of its justification, scope and procedures, its relationship with the work of OPCW and BTWC and its potential to contribute to the strengthening of national chem/bio security capabilities.

This Project will support the participation of 34 elected officials and municipal staff from cities and municipalities across Africa, the Middle East, and South and Southeast Asia in the Strong Cities Sixth Global Summit, taking place in Toronto, Canada in December 2025. The Strong Cities Global Summit serves as the premier global convening for local leaders working to prevent and respond to hate, extremism, and polarization.

The objectives for CSC are to create, promote and facilitate access to service opportunities that are meaningful to young Canadian, and support lasting civic engagement, as well as to provide youth with life and work skills.

The project aims to develop a commercial SaaS platform that integrates generative AI tools into artists’ primary software environments, removing the need to switch between applications and improving productivity, creativity, and data security for studios and artists.
