The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.

ForceN is working towards a space-grade version of the embedded electronics in their force/torque sensors. This project will create the validation & verification (V&V) fixtures for 100% functional testing of all ForceN’s space-grade electronics.

Development of a SaaS platform for heavy truck management.

The RAYMEX Lift is a Class I Medical Device created by Axtion Independence Mobility Inc. with previous support from IRAP. It is a multi-purpose, portable mobility aid that empowers adults with mobility challenges and eases the burden on caregivers at home and in healthcare facilities. With use cases ranging from fall recovery to transfers, multi-functional mobility, and safe sit-to-stand practice, it replaces multiple single-function devices with one elegant solution. Following domestic traction and growing interest abroad, we are seeking IRAP support to scale our international outreach, particularly in the U.K., EU, and Japan by modifying the design, methods, and documentation to align with the various international requirements.

Participate in the final cycles of mechanical/material development of the infused beverage preparation device (EspressoAI).

The human microbiome extends beyond the gut, with vaginal and oral microbial ecosystems playing vital roles in systemic and reproductive health. Nucliq Biologics, through its flagship platform Gutcheck, is pioneering precision microbiome analysis. Building on Gutcheck’s success, and to address the growing demand for integrated, multi-site testing that can provide individuals and clinicians with a more holistic view of health, this project focuses on developing and validating a vaginal microbiome testing module, the first step toward integrated, multi-site microbiome profiling. By incorporating AI-driven analytics, it will set the foundation for holistic health insights and future microbiome-based therapeutic innovations.

The Project will advance the firm's product toward real-time deployment and optimization for surgical image clarification, while validating the solution in relevant surgical settings.

Development of a high-efficiency, iron-based thermochemical storage system to provide reliable, dispatchable, high-temperature industrial heat. This project will design, fabricate, integrate, and test a containerized pilot system that stores surplus renewable electricity in solid iron media and releases that energy as heat on demand.
