OPASS software suite will facilitate pilot-friendly Autonomous Underwater Vehicle guidance/navigation simulator useful for pilot training, mission planning and mission completion. This simulator will be a significant step forward in terms of providing mission specialists with the capacity to deploy their AUVs with a much greater degree of
confidence and cost efficiency in achieving ocean research mission objectives. Featuring rich environmental data displays, it will accurately simulate at-sea conditions without vehicle risk.

The research and development work considered within this project is still directly related to early stage R&D feasibility to determine if real time environmental data can be synthesized into finite blocks of software code and then combined with instructional navigation coding in a manner that facilities an accurate simulation tool.

Development of in-house capability for rubber mixing and material production by upgrading an exiting rubber mixing mill utilizing PLC and electric controls to automate the mixing process, improve operator safety and integrate it into current manufacturing line.

The project aims to develop the market strategy for two new market segments contemplated for the next few years, among other things, to confirm the value proposition for these two different segments.

Develop lightweight aluminum or aluminum/steel personnel carriers for the mining industry that can perform to ISO3471 and ISO3449 standards on all brands of pickup trucks. The industry standard has been to use Toyota Landcruiser diesel trucks underground, but with the introduction of affordable electric trucks such as the Ford Lightening, there may be a move to other platforms as electrification becomes more common. TopROPS would like to start designing options for these vehicles before mines begin to deploy them so that we can offer a mature solution. These trucks present additional challenges over their diesel counterparts due to the weight of the batteries increasing the GVW. Increased GVW also increased the performance requirements

This project will develop a multiple bio signal monitoring and near-real time reporting platform for use with Bluetooth connected devices under both medical and consumer use cases by people at home and on the move. Daily and aggregate reporting will be part of the platform.
